Anita Li — Restaurant in Jalisco

We are visiting from the USA our family in Guadalajara, they brought us to this new restaurant that they like for us to try, and the music was so loud we could not hear each other, we asked the waitress to please put down the sound a little bit and nothing happened, a little later on then we asked for the manager and asked him in a good way explaining to him that even most clients there were on his 60’s like us and it was better to be able to have a pleasant conversation while eating and he was argumentative with us about the super loud music, and almost at the end they lower the volume. We know because living in USA for so long that it kind of the fashion on this restaurants to have the music very loud, but at 3:00 pm we were expecting to be peaceful having a nice conversation with our family in Guadalajara which we only visit twice a year. The food was not very special either and for that price they are a lot better high end restaurants in...

This place was recommended by a local client and it really was a great recommendation. We had the season's 3 course meal which included a cocktail. First, we had a fish "sopecito" and a shrimp taco which both were very tasty. Then we had a choice between Salisbury steak or shrimps. The beef was juicy and expertly cooked. It came with a delicious mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes. Finally, for dessert, we were served an excellent "tres leches" cake sprinkled with ground coffee.

It is on the pricey side but the value is nonetheless excellent. I would definitely go back when I am back in...

Hello ! I would like to share my experience visiting this restaurant: it was very disappointed with my recent experience at Anita Li. While trying to secure a reservation, it became evident that the restaurant prioritizes larger groups over solo diners or couples on the waiting list. Unfortunately, this left the impression that individual guests are not valued in the same way.

Although the reception staff attempted to be polite, it was clear where their focus was directed. For a restaurant with such reputation, the lack of fairness and balance in guest treatment was discouraging.

If you are looking for a dining experience where reception, atmosphere, and attention to all guests are equally respected, it may be better to look elsewhere.

¡Hola! Me gustaría compartir mi experiencia en este restaurante: me decepcionó mucho mi reciente visita a Anita Li. Al intentar reservar, me di cuenta de que priorizan a los grupos grandes sobre los comensales solitarios o las parejas en lista de espera. Desafortunadamente, esto dio la impresión de que no se valora a los comensales individuales de la misma manera.

Aunque el personal de recepción intentó ser amable, era evidente a quién se dirigía. Para un restaurante con tanta reputación, la falta de equidad y equilibrio en el trato a los clientes fue desalentadora.

Si busca una experiencia gastronómica donde la recepción, el ambiente y la atención a todos los comensales se respeten por igual, quizás sea mejor buscar en otro...
