Such a great pad thai and decent service located in a beautiful brick building in Colonia Americana. We arrived at the nearly empty restaurant for lunch and were quickly acknowledged and seated at the front of the restaurant. We were given a QR code for the menu (which at this point is just annoying not only due to the lack of a physical menu but also because the website itself was a bit difficult to navigate).
To start, we ordered a Bananarama cocktail and a Thai tea. The cocktail was decent and reasonably priced ($120, 7/10). For our appetizer, we chose the Thai dumplings, which were also decent and made for a good starter (7/10).
For our main dishes, we went with the pad thai and the drunken noodles, both of which looked very aesthetically pleasing and delicious. The server respected my peanut allergy and did not include peanuts on the pad thai. The chicken pad thai tasted just as delicious as it looked and was generously portioned (8.5/10). The drunken noodles were decent enough, but the star was definitely the pad thai. Prices were decent for drinks, a bit more elevated for the pad thai ($270) but the larger portion makes part of it up.
We didn’t receive napkins immediately when our meals arrived, and it took some time to get someone’s attention to bring us some. The space overall was great and very inviting, with the doors wide open allowed for a gentle breeze to come thru, which made for a lovely lunch. The service for the most part was attentive and friendly, though there were a few instances where it took a while to get acknowledged, particularly when paying, since the server and who appeared to be the owner seemed preoccupied inside.

Read moreI passed by while walking in the area and decided to have lunch here on my way back towards Chapultepec. Very impressed by not only the food but also the service. Highly recommend you try the dumplings (I had the veggie ones but I’m sure the other ones with meat are great as well). The Vietnamese coffee was also tasty, strong and not too sweet. Oscar and Javier were extremely hospitable and even put up with my terrible Spanish 😅 This place was genuinely better than a lot of Thai food back in the US, so flavorful and fresh. The playlist was also great (love SZA and Frank Ocean!) Can’t recommend this place enough!

Was blown away with the food and service at atomic. We stopped for a late lunch and ended up having an absolute feast!
The manager Oscar was super helpful, the aesthetic was beautiful and the food was so so good.
Highly recommend the panang curry with beef shank, super soft meat and in a gorgeous creamy sauce.
And the shrimp spring roll were the best we’ve ever had, so much so we ordered two portions- atomic Thai if you read this review please tell me what’s the paste you put inside with the shrimp!!
