My travel companion & I came in on a Saturday afternoon during our week long stay in PVR. It is a quick, 7-10min taxi ride from the Romantic Zone depending on where you start. The ambience is cozy, and pays homage to owner’s roots in Bedstuy—Bedford Stuyvesant for the uninitiated. Good: - The wings are AMAZING 10/10. The absolute best that I’ve ever had for Vallarta—& gives a number of soul food places back in the US a run for their money. - The Lemon/Blueberry pancakes were incredible. The blueberries were fresh, and quite literally bursting with juices and flavor with each bite. The menu is dotted with entrees @ sides that are staples on the African American community and will mesmerize any palate. If you come on the weekend, treat yourself to bottom mimosas-there are at least five different flavors. Bad: Nothing! No upgrades, no notes.

The food was extremely slow to come out of the kitchen for everyone in the restaurant (one table even had to change their order to to-go because they were waiting for an hour). I ordered the chicken and waffle bowl meal but they forgot to make the chicken and just brought out the waffle bowl. The waitstaff was disorganized and the older waitress actually seemed to be under the influence of *something*. Great concept for PV, but the workers aren’t executing it well at all.

It's an Excelente Café/ Restaurant with a surreal Brooklyn vibe. A place where you just stop in and stay talking, eating and drinking for hours!! Everything is perfect!! They have board games, TV, music and the most friendly servers to make you feel right at home. Delicious breakfast,☕🧇🥓🍳 lunch,🍔🥙🥗 dinner🍗🥘🥩 and drinks that are loaded exactly how you want with a bit more to be sure they're perfect!!🍷🍸🍹🍻 And they're just one block from the Malecon!!☀️🏖🌴 Gets better and better every time I visit. Great new dishes. This is a must!!😋😋😋 After all this time it's still GREAT!!

They have board games, TV, music and the most friendly servers to make you feel right at home. Delicious breakfast,☕🧇🥓🍳 lunch,🍔🥙🥗 dinner🍗🥘🥩 and drinks that are loaded exactly how you want with a bit more to be sure they're perfect!!🍷🍸🍹🍻 And they're just one block from the Malecon!!☀️🏖🌴 Gets better and better every time I visit. Great new dishes. This is a must!!😋😋😋 After all this time it's still GREAT!!
