Buffet King Restaurante Comida China — Restaurant in Jalisco

This Chinese buffet is somewhat acceptable for Mexico. Don’t expect the dishes to taste like they do in Canada, though. A lot of flavours are just plain weird. I tried the breaded cutlet strips and for some very odd reason it tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The stir fried shrimp was okay. But still had the heads and shells on so you get your hands really messy trying to peel them . With that being said, they’re clearly not deveined. The buffet price is about $250 pesos at the time of writing. That works out to about $20 CDN when you look at the exchange rate and fees for Canadians.

The atmosphere is okay but there doesn’t appear to be any air conditioning, and the double doors in the front of the restaurant are wide open. How they keep the flies outta here is beyond me. There are fans blowing like crazy at the back of the restaurant where we were seated, so everything kept blowing away, especially our napkins- so bring a few paperweights for you and your friends, lol.

NEVER EAT HERE We walked in today with my husband to eat dinner, there were 5 employees standing around & only one other person eating there. Not one of them greeted us or Acknowledged you even there! Finally The kid behind the buffet asked if I wanted a plate… sure we got some food, we should have just left when we saw the food. I dished up a small plate and we sat down. We had to get up and ask for silverware and a beverage. I had a few bites and couldn’t eat anymore it was Disgusting. Chicken was DRY and the orange chicken or what ever was my husband was so dry and hard he couldn’t even eat it. Rice was ok but that’s all. We got up paid and left…. The cashier was so rude, I paid and she said go just go it wqs weird and RUDE We were nice even left a tip don’t know why but we did....

We seen this place had lots of customers so we wanted to try it out! Definitely no where near the taste we are use to but to get that craving out I guess it does the trick. My parents liked it said it was good but me and my husband thought it was ok...i guess it depends on what your use too...ordered the red sauce pork ribs and literally nothing but bones! The rice tasted burnt...egg rolls didn't taste like anything...orange chicken was basically all breading...not flavorful at all...price not bad for what you get...customer service was good it looked clean...but definitely...
