This is a fairly nice taco shop in Puerto Vallarta. The decor is nothing to write home about, but it’s nice to sit outside. It’s just a bit close to a busy road. You will also find some taco stands across the street, but usually it’s hard to find seating there. We decided to try this place. It’s a Thursday night and we showed up at midnight and it was still open. The prices are just slightly higher than the taco stands across the street, but at least you can sit and enjoy. The tacos were very good and moderately priced at 20 to 30 pesos each. The platters were a bit bigger at $350 pesos, but they will fill you up. Read moreAs a taco novice, the English-speaking waiter was helpful and recommended Don Taco and Al pastor taco. Both came fresh, hot and full of condiments of my preference which is everything. It was a bit too much food for one person. Price was reasonable and on par with Vallarta prices (25-30 pesos per taco, 120 quesadilla).
Lots of locals, grandmas, children, and couples eating there which was a good sign as a tourist. Card accepted.
The outdoor patio (yellow furniture, yellow awning) was lighted and had a good ambiance in that little intersection of very local shops (barber, tailor, gym, dollar store etc).
