CAFÉ SAN PEDRO offers an excellent option for breakfast or lunch right in the heart of Tlaquepaque. We tried two different wrapinis (similar to California wraps) and they were both delicious. My wife had the breakfast wrapini and I had the chicken pesto with a chipotle dressing. Both were very tasty. We also enjoyed the café de olla, which is made with boiled coffee beans, cinnamon and piloncillo, which is raw cane sugar. As a complement, try the Sopa Azteca. This version is heavier on the tomato flavor and less on the chicken stock. But it is quite savory and a nice complement to the wrappinis. We tried a cinnamon roll with the coffee. It had a nice cream cheese topping, but no cinnamon swirls within the roll itself. Our waiter, Christian, provided outstanding service. Overall, Café San Pedro was excellent and we...

The food has nice presentation. They use full clay plates and decorate the food accordingly. Unfortunately the taste doesn't correspond the presentation. I ordered chilaquiles with mole, the mole was good. It was a little dry but had a very nice consistency. Don't worry about the spicy, the mole is the sweet kind and it goes very well with the crispy tortilla for the chilaquiles. I had to ordered extra fried eggs because the order is just the chilaquiles and a little bit of fried beans, which in my opinion it's not enough portion for a person. The bread was average (nothing special). Overall I think the price doesn't correspond with the quality you get. As far as the the atmosphere I think is great. The service was not bad but they didn't look that friendly, especially when you compare to the other...

Service was slow, the place wasn’t busy and food took a long time to come out. This was mi second time here and most likely the last one. This time we got tortilla soup, hamburger and emboladas. The “tortilla soup” was a bowl with ingredients like tortilla strips, chicharrón, corn, avocado and cheese with a side of worm tomato sauce to pour into the bowl and make your “tortilla soup”. The hamburger meet was very dry and too salty. The enmoladas were too spicy, the chicken in the enmoladas was very dry, the tortillas too stiff. In few words it wasn’t a good experience eating here. I wouldn’t...

Food was okay. They messed up an order and waiter rolled his eyes at us after he was the one who made the recommendation. Before sitting us down they swapped the tables with the people next to us since their table wasn’t steady; hence their solution was to give us their table. Waiter would pass every so often to ask if we needed anything taking 10min to ask for water. My panini was okay. My sister in laws migas weren’t that great, didn’t end up having more than a few bites. Cousins quesadilla with meat which had no meat nor cheese.
