Visited this place for my birthday and was completely disappointed.

The service was terrible. I only ordered an appetizer just to see how things were going to go here. I ordered the Argentinian sausage and some mezcal Chapultepec.

They took over an hour to bring out only 2 sausages. The sausage had so much vinegar in it that it tasted like pickled meat. I had to order some sugar to cut the bitterness out of the meat.

This has got to be the worst mezcal I've ever tasted. No smoky to it at all. It tasted like grain alcohol. A cheap tequila tastes better than that.

The food was very good. The head waiter Tony was fantastic. The adobo octopus was delicious, but slightly tough. The octopus carpaccio was fantastic, our favorite dish so far. We also had flank stank (vació), top sirloin (picaña), New York steak. The meat cuts were very good. It was great service, one of the steaks was over cooked and they replaced it. always one of my favorite places to eat when I come visit gdl. the food is always top quality and the music is always great, not too obnoxious and appeals to my 80’s-90s pop sensibilities. however, the hostesses here are always rude and turn us away two hours before closing. They’re very unapologetic as well! I hope this changes and that ownership can bring this to their attention. There’s no reason to turn guests away two hours before close with such...
