El Patio — Restaurant in Jalisco

Great atmosphere and service. Superb music venue

Located across the way from Chapala's Malecon, El Patio is an expansive courtyard restaurant that's a cut above other venues in the neighborhood.

The welcome is warm and service exceedingly friendly and efficient. Food, too is excellent and prices are more than fair, given the restaurant's location and high standard.

The food is good, it comes out fast. Not your typical local restaurant but the menu is not extensive which makes it easier to pick a plate.

I have never had a bad dish here and the service is good (coming from a college waiter in the US of fine dining). The staff is friendly and attentive. Tacos at night are amazing, like a good taco truck.

I recommend the pierna torta and the huevos locos.

The music that night was above average. The only real issue was that they have personal boundary issues. An overly nice woman came to our table and started kissing everyone in a not so inviting way. I definitely got her off of me. On our first visit there. The owner came up and kissed my girlfriend, She was shocked. These occurrences were innocent but unessessary, considering one should be more careful sharing bodily anything with the amount of illnesses going around. ...
