Food: was terrible. I'm talking 2/10. We ordered chicken enchiladas and the cheese looked tasty, toasty brown/melted. It was cold and broke in half. Food was flavourless and tasted like it was pre cooked about 3-4 days before. Don't be fooled by the pictures.

Service: it was decent but they add 10% tipping, which is unheard of, in most establishments.

Atmosphere: good mariachi band, talented musicians. Very shady business practices, audience was making requests and the lead pretended not to hear or respond in jest. Turns out they charge $400 per song. While the rate is understandable. because they have to pay their musicians, it's not good business to be sneaky about prices.

When they finished, they handed out business cards. At the beginning, I thought, this group is great. I'd love to contract them for a private event. Afterwards, I...

Every time I come to Guadalajara I visit this restaurant. Most times it is a hit and miss visit for me. The thing I like the most is dinning by the balcony and seeing the goings on at one of the main streets in the downtown area. It is nicer to sit here on a Sunday when the main street is closed to cars and you can watch the cyclists, rollerbladers, runners and families walk around having fun. The food has been better than the other times I have visited. This last time I visited I was with my cousin who is a chef and likes all kinds of food but even she had a hard time with the plate we got for our lunch. Maybe the next time we visit it would be fine but for this visit my rating...

Do not believe those of 4 or 5 starts on the first place. They treat you well at the entrance, but the waiting is exaggerated, the food is nothing special, and yeah, expensive of course. And another point. If you're coming for the courtesy drink from Tapatio Tour, let me tell you that they give you only a 355ml soda or beer. They don't give you nothing else, but they used to. This is a review from a Tourist. Please just go to La Chata restaurant. Is better and nearby...

The food was ok. But the wait staff was not good at all, they got our check wrong as well as our food. Some food that was ordered together didn't come out together. So you had your guest waiting to eat the food they ordered about 10 minutes with your food in front of you. We were a party of about 20 celebrating a birthday party. The live music they had was ok.
