My recent visit to this restaurant was, unfortunately, an underwhelming experience. While the setting and design of the restaurant are commendable, the same cannot be said about the food or service.
To start, it took a shocking 30 minutes before any waiter approached our table to take our orders. This lack of attentiveness persisted throughout the meal, leaving us feeling neglected and frustrated. After the initial serving of drinks, no one bothered to ask if we needed refills or anything else—a basic expectation that was sorely unmet.
The food itself was equally disappointing. The bread was dry, clearly not fresh and likely leftover from breakfast service. The fries were undercooked, leaving them inedible, while the tacos were completely tasteless and lacked the authenticity of real tortillas. The enchiladas were soggy and bland, further adding to the list of culinary missteps.
To make matters worse, the wine we were served was poor in quality. Even after returning the first glass, the replacement was no better, which speaks to a concerning lack of care in their beverage selection.
While the restaurant boasts excellent views and a well-thought-out design with great lighting and vibes, these positives are not enough to make up for the glaring issues with the food and service. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who values a decent meal or even the most basic level of customer care. Save yourself the trouble and enjoy the view from...
Read moreI'll be as much objective as possible. Restaurant highlight is supposed to be the view, but that's just for few seats, so got to be lucky to actually have a table with a view. Quality of food is ok, just ok. We ordered the chinese kind of chicken. To be honest, panda express is better, don't expect a fancy dish. Fettuccine is pretty average as well as the enchiladas. Accordingly with one of my friends, tortellini was pretty good, but it was kind of cold, as the rest of the dishes. Place is nice and cozy at night. What I didn't like about this place, is that they denied me a glass of water, and... well, that's what I drink, no matter what. They put a bottle of water in front of me even when I specifically requested no to do it. Tap/filtered water works for me. I also didn't like the waiter attitude, he was stubborn instead of providing a solution. The serving time was long, 50 min to get our dishes, place was busy but they should expect that on Friday nights. Prices are ok, average as compared with other restaurants of its kind, but don't expect big portions. I was told that drinks were good in taste. So, the bottom line: Based on my experience at the restaurant, and after living in Guadalajara for almost a year, with sooo many options, I wouldn't recommend this place to visitors or locals. But of course, your experience might be a lot...
Read moreNot to bad of a restaurant however this is the type of place you can’t go wearing shorts and a regular shirt or you won’t get treated the same way as the rest. This was my first time here but I could tell the difference in treatment mainly with the hostess at the entrance, who is the same guy that takes your payment when paying with a card. He looked at me from head to toe asking me If I had a reservation when there was literally 20 tables available and almost no one there. However you shouldn’t judge people by what they are wearing or how they look, un consejo para tu vida morro “no juzgues ala gente por lo que traen puesto, la gente que en realidad tiene dinero no ocupa mostrárselo a nadie, simplemente lo saben. El ser humilde no significa ser pobre o que pienses que no puedo pagar por mi cena! Aprende hacer humilde que eso en la vida te ayudará mucho.” Our waitress was fantastic on the other hand very kind and friendly I wish I had ask for her name but she made sure that our dinner and drinks were...
