Great atmosphere, good location,
The BAD: My party ordered a round of Mezcal shots. The shots of Mezcal were 100% not mezcal
One of the members in my party, worked as a bartender for 10+ years in Playa del Carmen and Guadalajara. Noticed the Mezcal was, not in fact Mezcal but Rum, mixed with tequila
SECONDLY: The Wings are the worst wings, I have even seen passed as wings.
The wings were extremely dry, no meat, pure fried chicken skin
Thirdly: my party was charged extra for two items (little cups of 1 Oz of clamato) 100$ peso per 1 Oz of clamato
Mind you. The Clamato was use to chase down the horrible shots of mezcal that were served to us
BOTTOM LINE. THE FOOD IS A 2 OUT OF 10. THE DRINKS ARE NOT AUTHENIC. Cupreata Mezacal was not what was served to us
Also the price does not remotely reflect the quality of food
AVIOD AT ALL COST. YOURE BETTER OFF...

We sat down ordered drinks and food but while waiting, we overheard the guy behind us complain that their food was an hour late and it was served cold. He was not happy and we now wondered if we had made the right decision. No worries, our food was served soon after and it was served just right. We did overhear others say they were return customers so good choice...
Read moreWow. Really, REALLY bad. Went Thursday night. Marinara sauce for salsa, nasty stale chips, ordered 1 tiny shrimp cocktail, which was more like pico soup with a few tiny little shrimp thrown in, but ok. 2 Overpriced drinks that were so bad they didn't taste like anything except what I imagine lighter fluid tastes like, and our super friendly waiter told us our bill was over $35 American when in fact it was under $22, assuming we didn't understand the conversation rate. This fact alone made me angry enough to leave this review! Americans beware! Super friendly, opportunistic con-men. Be advised there's a persuasive old man on n the boardwalk telling you it's the best food in pv (prepared by his "dying...
