Mariscos Cuetos Seafood — Restaurant in Jalisco

We were warmly welcomed and seated immediately. Margaritas are on point! House made salsa was fantastic. We all shared the fresh and delicious guacamole. I had the sea bass fillet which was excellent. My son has the seafood casserole which had a bit of everything and was amazing. Hubby had the pulpo which was also fantastic. Everything was perfect except the entertainment. We were tricked into buying $400 pesos worth of songs because the price wasn't made clear. Because of this, it's unlikely I will ever support performers like this again for worry of being hustled. I wasn't going to argue or make a scene. But I won't get fooled again and although the musicians didn't work for the restaurant, they endorse them by having them inside their business. We were gonna eat lunch in another place but found that place closed for renovation. Our Uber driver took us here in Mariscos Cuetos instead. They were still closed because we came in a little earlier than 12 noon. They let us in and served us beers anyway. Luis came up and explained everything on the menu and showed us a platter full of seafood that is available for that day. The food impressed us all. The seafood soup was to die for. The soup base was so dense with flavor, and they were generous with the seafood. What was better than all that was their service. Luis and Charly was on top of everything. They even knew what we needed before we asked for it. Superb service, I say. Just because, they gave us shots of tequila to thank us for enjoying their meals. This will definitely a stop we would make every time...

First time here ! Right away they walked out to my taxi and opened the door for us and also walked us in. Very clean. Great presentation of the food before ordering. And great food. Unfortunately my daughter dropped a cup and they did such a good job at cleaning up right away and even making my daughter feel better by telling her it wasn’t a big deal and brought her another drink right away and made sure she was happy again:).
