I was really disappointed in this place. While the food was good. The service wasnt. They served us the wrong drink and then told us they served the wrong drink...which made sense since we ordered a margarita and it was transparent like a gin and tonic. My husband took a drink and said this is a weird margarita, taste this. So i also tasted it. Those were the only two drinks taken and then the waiter came to us and apologized he made a mistake. That we had my friends drink. He tried to move it over to my friends side of the table and we said no you cant do that. You need to make it fresh. Eventually the correct drink came out and all was well until the bill came. They wanted to charge us double for the drink they served us incorrectly. Of course we werent going to pay for the drink they served incorrectly. The waiter sent the manager to then proceeded to argue with us. He should have clearly comped the drink. His reaction was and argument were unnecessary. They also nickle and dime you on the gin and tonic. The menu says 219 pesos for the drink. They charge 200 pesos for the gin and then 35 pesos for the tonic which is insane and not the correct price. In short i do not recommend this place if you want a good service experience. This is easily one of the most attractive restaurants in the marina and the menu is creative and delicious and very fairly priced. Their Mar y Tierra is always beautiful and tasty with grilled shrimp on top of a thick filet on top of pureed sweet potatoes - with grilled or steamed vegetables. This follows any of their creative salads loaded with fresh produce and fruit. Another great choice is their Fish Filet - in this case grilled Mahi Mahi topped with octopus. tuna and shrimp bites in a cream sauce again with fresh roasted vegetables. Their chef is inventing many new dishes that are delicious! Service is outstanding from the staff's warm welcome to the waiters like Sergio who love explaining the dishes and check regularly to make sure your needs are met. This is a restaurant that knows what foodies like. Everything was delicious and spiced perfectly. The Mar y Tierra was amazing, grilled shrimp with a perfect filet mignon, sweet potato puree and vegetables. The Chile del Mar was tasty as well with its combination of cream, seafood and pepper.
