If you don't speak Spanish stay away.
My family (with 3 children 3 years old and younger) attended this McDonald's multiple times during our vacation in Vallarta. The first few times we really enjoyed it and the staff were good. They always had at least one staff member that was able to speak English. The last time we went to the McDonald's it was the worst experience we have had at any McDonald's in the world. We waited over 45 minutes for our food and were denied a refund. The staff declined to even have a conversation with us.
We ordered food (to go) a few minutes after 7pm which we paid for with cash. We waited for approximately 40 minutes and still did not receive our food. I then asked them about our order and they said they misplaced the order and that they would remake it. They did not even have a record or remember the order and so I had to tell them everything we ordered again. After about 10 minutes, they gave us a bag that only contained a portion of our order. I asked if we could get our money back instead of receiving our order because of the long delay. The cashier who initially was speaking some English with me said "no English". I used Google translate on my phone and asked for our money back (written in Spanish) and the cashier's reply was "no English". One of the employees spoke English and I asked to speak to him. I asked him for a refund instead of our food and he said he needed to speak with someone else. After several more minutes we received the remainder of our order and then the staff refused to speak with us or even acknowledge us as they quickly spoke to each other in Spanish and turned their backs to us. I told them that we would just leave and I got no response back. We left the location a few minutes before 8pm without any refund, discount, coupon, or even an apology. I guess that's how McDonald's does business in Mexico. It's sad to see that they don't have the same standards as the rest...

This review is for my visit to this location yesterday at 4 p.m. for what was supposed to be a simple cheat meal. The restaurant was not busy, and I placed a simple order in Spanish: a two-cheeseburger combo with no pickles and a bottle of water.
Despite the simplicity, my order, number 176, took an astonishingly long time. After waiting for 12 minutes while multiple customers who ordered after me received their food, I approached the counter. They were already on order 181 and simply told me, "Yes, yes, it is coming."
At 4:16 p.m., my number was called. As the employee was placing the fries on my tray, I noticed something horrifying: a long, dark hair was draped right across them. I immediately pointed it out, and the manager came over, gave me a strange look, and simply took the fries. He instructed the employee to give me another serving from the fry station. She did, but when I got to my table, the new fries were ice-cold.
I took them back to the counter, and this time, both the manager and the employee gave me a super dirty look. They made a third batch of fries, which were hot, but there was no apology, no acknowledgement of the horrible experience—nothing. The staff seemed completely apathetic, like they were zombies. The level of customer service here is...
Read moreDine-in on a Wednesday afternoon and was treated to kind and patient staff, accurate orders, fresh and well-prepared meal. Really good McDonald's in the Caracol mall. McCrispy deluxe trio combo, added con tocíno (with bacon), cola sín azúcar (sugar-free), large fries. Bacon was crispy, about 4 slices, enough mayonnaise to hold the lettuce and onion in place and a thick fresh slice of tomato. The chicken was a little tough, but for McDonald's, this was still really good. Chill atmosphere, good for kids (noticed a play area in the back), fast and accurate service....
