Neyuki japanese food sushi by Chef Fer Katsumi — Restaurant in Jalisco

Maybe we were just there on a bad night or with new staff. Food: The California roll was uneven & missing ingredients; the baked salmon was "equis" and the baked rice tasted stale; fancy shrimp roll was good at least. Service: Staff were quite friendly, but we had a very long wait for food to arrive, even though there were hardly any other customers. When they served the food we had to ask specifically for the ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce, then waited a while for those to appear. I didn't write a review when I actually ate at Neyuki's (two times) but I'm writing it now after being home in the US. And that's because Neyuki's revived my passion for good sushi and so I just went to the highest rated sushi restaurant in Tucson and it was crap compared to what we got at Neyuki's. It made me realize how special Neyuki's is and how much more authentic Japanese the food there is. And the service and atmosphere was very nice too. If I could give them a million stars, I would. I love everything about this restaurant. The food is exquisite, innovative and beautiful. The presentations make you admire your food and open your appetite before you even take a bite! The menu is like nothing you've ever experienced anywhere else.
