Soy Cliente De Tiendas Sanborns Desde Niño. Y Siempre Había Pensado Y Creído Que No Había Nada Igual, Que Su Concepto Era Único. Hoy Lamento Confirmar Que Ya No Es Lo Que Solía Ser. Con Todo Éste Asunto De La Contingencia Sanitaria, Y El Cierre De Establecimientos (Entre Ellos Muchos Sanborns), Que Trajo Ésta Situación. De Verdad Es Triste. Pero Más Aún, Que Mucho De Ese Pesar Tiene Su Origen En Abandonar El Mantenimiento De Las Unidades De Negocio. He Visitado Varias En Las Últimas Semanas Desde Puebla A Jalisco, Y La Una Constante Es La Falta De Mantenimiento Y Actualización De Las Tiendas. Tiene Muchas Áreas De Oportunidad, Que No Han Sido Aprovechadas. Y El Pensar Que El Cliente Cautivo Siempre Será Leal /Fiel Sólo Por Serlo, Es Un Error Para Quienes Crean En Ello. El Sabor Del Café Descafeinado De Sanborns Lo Tengo Super Registrado En El Paladar, Y Sé Cuándo No Es. No Nada Más Por El Mantelito Que Se Supone Debe Estar En El Plato Del Terno. (Cosa Que Ya No He Visto En Mis Últimas Visitas A Las Tiendas). Y Que Te Sirvan Café Regular (Normal), En Lugar Del Descafeinado, Creyendo Que El Cliente No Lo Notará Es Un Grave Error. Y Más Aún Cuando Uno Cómo Cliente Hace La Observación A La Mesera Y Encargado Del Sitio Y Tengan El Descaro De Afirmar Que Si Es Descafeinado Cuándo No Lo Es. (Incluso Revuelto Y Quemado). De Verdad Me Es Incómodo Expresarlo, Pero No Hay De Otra: Es Lo Que Es, Y Hay Que Decirlo. Atención Dueños /Gerentes /Supervisores/ Responsables De Área: Renovarse O Morir! Y Renovar No Sólo Implica Muebles Puertas Baños Carta/Menú, Principalmente La Mente Y Su Tan Distinguida Atención Al Cliente. Hoy Ausente, E Indolente. Mal Manejo De Higiene En Alimentos (El La Unidad Del Triángulo Hace6Un Par De Semanas, En Uno De Los Patillos Ordenados, Tenia Adentro Un Pedazo De Plástico Rígido). No Soy De Reclamar Con Modos Groseros, Hice La Observación Al Personal A Cargo Y No Pasó De Un -No Puede Ser Posible, Avisaré En Cocina- No Espero Que Me Regalen La Cuenta. Simplemente Espero Lo Mejor, Servido En La Mesa Para Degustar Con La Confianza De Que Es Higiénico El Manejo De Los Alimentos. A Parte De Ser Muy Desagradable, Definitivamente Me Han Convencido A Pulso Que Son Uno Más Del Montón. Y Me Lleva A Reconsiderar, Que Puedo Entonces Alegrarme De Que Cierren Operaciones En Su Totalidad Y Para Siempre. Que Si Todo Tiene Un Ciclo, El Suyo Terminó. Y Si De Verdad Es Así, Háganlo Con Honor. No Con Malechadas. Ojalá De Algo Sirva El Presente...

A disgrace. I've been going to sanborns in various parts of mexico for over 20 years, but this one is clearly franchised by someone who doesn't care. I ordered huevos divorciados with chorizo and was given scrambled egg with chorizo. I pointed out the error, and was then brought back the same scrambled eggs with some green and red sauce on it. I know i look like a gringo, but please! I then had to wait for the real dish to be made, which is my favorite Mexican breakfast made with fried eggs and green and red sauces. When it arrived it strangely had no flavour. There was almost no difference between the green and red sauce. It was officially the blandest meal I've ever had in mexico. I ate half of it. I'm not proud of it, i was hungry! One hour later i was on the toilet...

Atmosphere, lovely. Food, average. Service, great.

Sanborn is your average family restaurant. We kept seeing this place all over the country and finally stopped in to give them a try. The location is great if you are living or staying in the area.

The atmosphere is okay. There is not much to say about the atmosphere. It is what you would expect of a family restaurant.

The food was okay. We were not impressed with the amount of guacamole they gave us for the price they charge. My wife enjoyed her chicken milanese, and I enjoyed my enchiladas but we both agreed they could have seasoned our dishes more.
