We stumbled upon Torteria Del Puerto and were absolutely blown away. We tried the pollo and sausage tortas, and both were next-level delicious. Moist, packed with bold, balanced flavors, and served on perfectly grilled bread that held everything together like a flavor fortress. Half a torta was more than enough… and yet, somehow, we happily ended up finishing the whole thing. No regrets.
The owner is so sweet and smiley—super friendly, warm, and totally accommodating. I asked for mine without frijoles (total gringo move, I know), and he didn’t bat an eye—just a kind smile and perfect service.
