This is a lengthy review! My partner and I came here for dinner recently and our experience was averagely okay, not the best, but could definitely be improved for the better. First of all, their restaurant is extremely nice, fancy, and clean. It has a pleasant ambiance to it. Aesthetics aside, their food could be better in our opinion. The soy sauce ramen was extremely salty and I’ve never had soy sauce ramen with broth being so salty before (if you need reference, I’m an Asian person who eats Asian cuisine my entire life). Their broth needed better ratios to combat the saltiness. Their sushi on the other hand weren’t so bad. The flavors were there, and my partner and I travel a lot, but we agreeably say that their sushi is a little to below average in being the best. Although, probably better than the ones we ate here in Pto. Vallarta so far. Secondly, we tried ordering things on their menu, but many items were “unavailable or out of stock”, so we always had to change our mind many times… and it was disappointing. Thirdly, staff want to upsell you to their more expensive items on their menu -- we didn't appreciate that. It was evident that our waiter wanted us to order the expensive items and was disappointed about our choices — which did not make sense to me. We came to eat what we want and the last time we checked, he’s not the one ordering. He got one of our orders wrong for their more expensive miso soup when we wanted the original, basic one — though we just decided not to say anything because we ate and paid for it and let him do his job. Lastly, we think their staff aren’t trained to be professionals. The host standing outside was using his phone and didn’t even look at us, so we had to just talk to the host inside. None of their staff members thanked us for being there or anything. They didn’t even smile, they just got our money, cleaned the tables, and left -- yes it means a lot if you want your customers to return. We didn’t complain in person, but I just want to voice out our experience and our strong opinions so that they could read this to improve themselves, and for readers like you to know what it was like for us. Note: IT WILL ALWAYS BE A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE!

A Culinary Delight in an Ambiance of Elegance: A Review of Yeo Sushi’s newest location in Zona Romantica Puerto Vallarta Nestled in the heart of Old Town, Yeo Sushi offers a culinary journey infused with elegance and freshness. From the moment you step inside, the ambience captivates with its exquisite lighting and remarkable woodwork, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The staff epitomize hospitality, their attentiveness ensuring every guest feels welcomed and attended to with care. Their willingness to guide and assist adds an extra layer of comfort to the dining experience, making patrons feel like honored guests. But it's the culinary offerings that truly steal the show. Each dish is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to freshness and quality. From the first bite to the last, every morsel bursts with flavor, showcasing the skill and dedication of the chefs. Whether it's the delicate slices of sashimi or the artfully crafted sushi rolls, each dish is a symphony of taste and texture. Yeo is more than just a dining establishment—it's an experience. With its stunning ambiance, attentive staff, and exceptional cuisine, it's a culinary destination worth savoring. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or simply seeking a memorable dining experience, Yeo delivers on all fronts, leaving patrons craving for more.

I have to say, sushi was probably the last cuisine I would’ve chosen to eat in Mexico, but my semi-local friend said he had a really good place for it, and he’s generally not wrong. I loved it all and everything we had sat with me as expected. The sweet spicy edamame had an incredibly delicious sauce on it and I could’ve eaten 5 plates of it. I have incredibly mild tastebuds and they had a small kick (if any) to them. The yeoshimi (mixed) was great, but I think I would get all tuna next time. With Serrano, this was a bit spicier but I definitely enjoyed it. For maki, we had the maguro roll, and I would totally order this again. The only loser was the tako carpaccio, which shows up at the table with a cover on it, to keep “smoking” the dish. I felt like it was drenched in bong water. Went on a Monday evening, and wish we were told (ahead of time) that it was 2-for-1 margarita night 🤷‍♀️

Upscale restaurant. I went for dinner with my family going to have a good time. the food was great but the service was horrible and it really upset the whole experience. First, we were just offered the qr code menu. We only had 2 phones for a party of 6, so it made the prices slow. Then none came to offer the wifi passcode.ni had to go to the front desk to ask. Finally, when we were ready to put the order, i asked the server about the cost of a drink, just to have the guy offering to bring us printed menus. During the previous almost 30 min, it did not occur to the same server, who already interested with us many times, to offer the printer menu. we order 2 tea pots, as server confirmed it would be a good size to our party. however, the server just brought 3 tea cups. we ordered 3 more. it took 15 min for getting the cups ( according to the server , they run out of tea cups). By this time, the tea was cold, and we poured some in the cup to show him. We asked for more hot water. Until this time, we assumed that the problem was an untrained server. however, instead of getting more hot water, the manager came to our table to tell us that we used the used the water and she would not give us "extra". we explained the issue again and showed the undrinken tea. She double down refusing to bring more water and at some point she offered to put our cold tea in the microwave. It spoiled out night. there are many other restaurants with good food in Puerto Vallarta. Take your money...
