Brewhaus Cervecería — Restaurant in Jalisco

We really love going to the Brewhaus and I really would like to give it a 5 star rating but can’t for one specific reason. The staff is awesome as is the food and selection of drinks. The food is reasonably price but the drinks are priced on the high side. The reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because of the extremely small pours for wine. My wife enjoys white wine so she is given in the smaller white wine glass. The staff has been trained by the owner to only pour to a certain level (I know because I asked). The result is maybe 2 ounces of wine for 135 pesos (a whole bottle sells for 450 pesos). If one orders red wine in the larger glass one would probably receive double the pour for wine. We feel we are being taken advantage of which I am sure is not the intent. The Brewhaus needs to have some sort of measuring cup to ensure an equal pour each time. We would like to come here more often but don’t for this reason which is a shame because other than this is, it is wonderful...

NEW Review: The wings are still great. The babyback ribs were terrible. chewy and bland - had to be torn off the bone, did not fall off. Burgers have changed, not one of the best burger anymore. The beer is just generic Mexican brands - Modelo , etc, but priced 2x of a normal cantina.

Not really looking to return at this point.

Staff can be hot or cold in terms of attitude and attention which could be explained by the men grabbing and fondling the women while they're trying to do their job and that the young ladies have to smile and tolerate it.

OLD Review: The food was really good. One of the best burgers in Vallarta. Simple and delicious. The fries are perfect; light and crisp and fresh oil. The beer was great as well. Awesome new micro brewery, close to Costco. The Buffalo wings and the onion rings were yums. Both the IPAs on tap were very well crafted, hoppy and satisfying. The staff was attentive and followed all Covid protocols. Will be back again soon. Since the place is a bit off the walking routes, there is li'l walk-in traffic. I would recommend the owners to offer some discounts or coupons to the large residential complexes close by the pub. We have tried several restaurants that are on our apartment's recommended list and also offering discounts from 10-20%. It's a cheap great way to get exposure to tourists, who will otherwise normally frequent downtown and other touristy areas. Highly recommend. Will be back to try some of the other...
