Café Central Mid — Restaurant in Mérida

A nice tribute theme to the 'TV show, Friends' that the owners have recreated throughout this cafe. They even had episodes from the show playing on the tele in the background, which complimented the decor. The service here is excellent! Especially from the man in charge. He offered to take photos of us with the background without even having to ask him first. And was very attentive when it came to ordering our meal and drinks. Our food was also served promptly and presented nicely. I had fruit waffles drizzled with chocolate sauce and left very full and satisfied. My spouse ordered a croissant with melted cheese and beans that came with perk coffee and orange juice as a breakfast special. Cute café! Found it while strolling through the city. This café is super central, and the cool thing is that they have 2 themes: downstairs "Friends" and upstairs "superheroes". I loved that they offer Mexican cuisine as well as "normal" things like a regular Club Sandwich (tastes way better than regular though!!!), or fresh salads. For the ones who like coffee, they definitely have a variety of different coffees as well as yummy alternatives. I especially love the always changing offer of pastries and cakes. My personal fav: the carrok cake. I usually like to mix up the spots I choose to go, but I keep coming back to Café Central MID again and again... definitely...

We wanted some coffee and a snack and were fully satisfied here! It’s friends themed which was a little surprising but quite charming. The first floor is a little small and we were first seated at the couch before being moved to a table, but it’s more a cozy vibe than a cramped one.
