Estación 47 — Restaurant in Mérida

On arriving the hostess poorly explain that the only available seat was the bar, for a breakfast buffet is an odd choice to offer, she explained they were fully booked even when I saw a bunch of empty tables, seemed they just didn't want a waste a table on a party of one. I asked politely if I could wait to get a table and then a group of people arrived and they walk-in to get one of said available tables they didn't even asked them for a reservation.

After that I got offer the only patio table with no umbrella, in Mérida, at noon. I declined and I asked if I could just wait for another table. The hostess told me to send a message via WhatsApp which I did, she took my name and told me she would let me know in ten minutes via text.

I waited in the park across the street for 30 minutes and never got the message.

Went to have breakfast somewhere else. Never...

Fantastic. I had Birria Consume it was full of flavor. My wife had the sea bass and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice appetizers, excellent margaritas. Atmosphere very relaxing. Ismael was our waiter and was very helpful. My wife has a gluten allergy, and their menu clearly states some gluten free options, along with some guidance from Ismael brought us some peace of mind and resulted in an excellent night out. We will be coming back!

My wife and I were walking along Calle 47. As we passed Estacion 47, which had just opened to the public that day, the manager invited us to come in as we explained that we just wanted a snack and a cold drink. We are so glad we took his invitation!

The restaurant's setting is lovely and contemporary with a beautiful enclosed courtyard for dining. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly, especially our server, Ismael. He did a great job of describing the items on the menu that would be a light meal.
