Suites Reforma by HomiRent — Hotel in Mérida

Suites Reforma has been a fantastic place to stay and is honestly hard to beat for the value. From the start, communication has been smooth and responsive—everything coordinated easily through WhatsApp, and the staff has been nothing but accommodating. I requested a specific room, and they made it happen without hesitation.

The rooms themselves are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped. The beds are large and very comfortable—great for resting after a long day exploring Mérida. Each room has a big smart TV with cable and streaming apps available, plus a coffee maker for those early starts. The Wi-Fi is solid, and the A/C works great (a must in Yucatán).

Location-wise, it’s in a quieter part of town, which I appreciated, but still conveniently close to restaurants, shops, and a decent taco spot just across the street. There’s also a convenience store and bus stop nearby, making it easy to get around without a car.

All in all, this place checks all the boxes—comfort, cleanliness, convenience, and great service. Suites Reforma will definitely be my go-to whenever I’m in Mérida....

It is a nice place to sleep. It has very comfortable beds and pillows, nice (rain) shower, very good internet. Big parking around the back. Bedlinnen looks fresh and white, towels have stains.

It offers a fridge, coffee maker and microwave and plates and cups etc.

It is not in an area with many restaurants so beware of the distance, the front desk can call a taxi, those are difficult to find in that area.

The hotel is very noisy, they refurbished and repurposed an old office building or so, so all inside walls are dry walls, you can hear everything from everyone.

All floors have marks of previous construction, this makes the floors look dirty, there are screws sticking out.

Housekeeping should do a better job, there are hairs everywhere.

They do not clean your room like a regular hotel, you get 1 complimentary cleaning for 7 days stay, or you pay 200 pesos per room per cleaning. They should mention that when you book a room.

not place place for the price ( I booked the room through AIRBnb ). how I saw - all rooms are new renovated ( even the building is old ) my room was on 3d floor , faced the road - but noise was acceptable , with earplugs slept well the bedsheets and towels are new , also nice to have coffee machine in the room I have some issue with TV on my first day - staff came and help me very fast. also have some water coming into room during the rain - but staff clean everything also quickly 7 min walk from main avenue , 15-20 min walk...
