The only reason why I put 1 star is for the salad that I appreciated. But the service was really bad. I asked for a water with gaz, the guy asks me "a limonade ?". "No, agua con gaz". Then I ask for a 150 pesos range price of wine. The waiter showed me the "360 pesos" range of wine many times insisting. I ask for a red meat, he shows me all the "chicken part". And I need to say that I speak fluent spanish. Then I finished by taking is chicken that was OVERCOOKED and burnt. My boyfriend asked for red meat : they served it UNCOOKED - totally UNCOOKED like if you get it out of the fridged and put it on the plate !! You can't do that. I took a photo. I passed a horrible time and finished in a bad mood knowing I was spending my money here and hoping to have a good time.

This Monterrey-style steakhouse had been on my list of places to try for years! Last night, a group of four of us finally made our way there for dinner. The restaurant offers several package deals, and we opted for one that included 2 appetizers, unlimited alcoholic drinks, and a choice between NY steak or Rib Eye, all priced at $700 pesos. For our appetizers, we enjoyed guacamole, cheese fondue, and sausage. I chose the rib eye, which was served with a small baked potato, grilled onions, delicious tortillas, and a small bowl of charro beans. Bring your appetite because they bring a lot of food! The restaurant itself, along with the bathrooms, was very clean with a nice ambiance, and the service was attentive. Overall, it was a good dining experience

If you are hungry for a delicious meat burger, you can get it here. A superb thick beef patty surrounded by a nice bacon belt, under a warm brioche bun. Just yumm! Great service, ambiance and price. El Tio is a local gem. Definitely recommend !
