A Culinary Journey to India in Mexico: Aroma Curry Delights

Rating: ★★★★★

Aroma Curry, the Indian gem nestled in the heart of Mexico, is a culinary oasis that takes your taste buds on a mesmerizing journey through the diverse and aromatic flavors of India. From the moment you step through its doors, you are transported to a world of spices, colors, and warmth that is truly enchanting.

Ambiance: ★★★★☆

The restaurant's ambiance is a perfect blend of Indian charm and Mexican hospitality. The décor is tastefully done with colorful tapestries, intricate wooden carvings, and dim lighting, creating an inviting and cozy atmosphere. However, a tad more Indian music in the background could elevate the experience to perfection.

Service: ★★★★★

The staff at Aroma Curry embodies the spirit of genuine hospitality. They are attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and ready to guide you through the delightful journey of Indian cuisine. The service is prompt and friendly, ensuring you feel like an honored guest.

Food: ★★★★★

Ah, the food! Aroma Curry has a menu that reads like a love letter to India's culinary diversity. While every dish we tried was exceptional, there were some standout must-try dishes:

Butter Chicken: The Butter Chicken at Aroma Curry is nothing short of a masterpiece. The tender chicken pieces bathed in a creamy tomato-based gravy are an absolute delight. It's rich, flavorful, and leaves you craving for more. Pair it with fragrant naan bread for a match made in heaven.

Masala Lassi: This refreshing yogurt-based drink with a kick of spices is a perfect companion to balance the spices of Indian cuisine. Creamy, tangy, and just the right amount of spiciness make it an ideal choice to cool your palate.

Mutton Rogan Josh: For those seeking a meaty adventure, the Mutton Rogan Josh is a must-try. The succulent mutton pieces are cooked to perfection in a vibrant, aromatic gravy that is both spicy and comforting. It's a hearty dish that captures the essence of Indian cuisine beautifully.

Vegetable Biryani: If you're in the mood for something vegetarian, don't miss the Vegetable Biryani. Fragrant rice cooked with a medley of vegetables and aromatic spices, it's a symphony of flavors that will leave you craving for seconds.

Gulab Jamun: End your meal on a sweet note with Gulab Jamun. These syrup-soaked, soft dumplings are the perfect finale to your Indian culinary journey.

In summary, Aroma Curry is a delightful Indian restaurant in Mexico that excels in delivering authentic flavors from the Indian subcontinent. The must-try dishes, including the Butter Chicken, Masala Lassi, and Mutton Rogan Josh, are simply outstanding. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or new to its flavors, Aroma Curry will leave you with a memorable dining experience that lingers on your taste buds and beckons you back for more. Don't miss the chance to embark on this gastronomic adventure - Aroma Curry is a true...

Yesterday I ordered dinner from the restaurant and here I am sharing my honest review.

I ordered food from uber, since it was getting late I asked to make the order fast, and it was delivered before time with proper packaging and disposables which I requested. Chicken tikka and samosa for the starters were delicious , the chutneys perfectly complimented. Rich and creamy butter chicken which had soft chicken pieces with soft and buttery naan were just how I love. chicken biriyani could have been better, though the flavor was good when we had it with the raita which was complimentary . Lastly the masala shikanji was a good drink to have after the meal.

Edit after the visit to the Aroma Curry outlet , the food is definitely authentic Indian food which is very rare in Mexico City, the feel and vibe is total Desi. The chicken tikka and malai tikka were delicious, and the samosas...

I would say this is the best place I had ever had Indian cuisine at outside India, I live in Ottawa but there is no Indian restaurant over there who can match the quality. These guys serve proper aata tandoori rotis, aata lachha parathas, next thing is what to have there, because I had visited 3 times in 15 days of span I can say 1st is paneer (they prepare there own paneer), 2nd is daal makhni with lachha paratha, then kadhai paneer, vegetarian biriyani and last not the least is chana masala. Well I am vegetarian so I can suggest only vegetarian dishes. They serve tamarind and mint chutney with paneer tikka that combination is actually defines the foodgasm😊. Most importantly there staff is very nice...

Rappi Review: I was in a bit of a hurry today. I had to meet friends in 2 hours at 4pm. I decided to order lunch from a restaurant that had a fast turnaround. I chose Aroma Curry because it shows “21 minutes” on Rappi. In addition, I paid extra for the priority delivery. Well, Aroma Curry took 1 HOUR to make two dishes. Even the Rappi delivery person was frustrated while waiting. He wrote to me “I'm putting pressure on it because it's been more than 30 minutes and the truth is that they have almost no people [working].” I placed the order at 2pm. The order was finally ready at 3pm and it arrived at 3:20pm. So, this review is a complaint about their slow timing.

One of the best Indian food we had across many countries we travelled so far . Love the small touches like serving food in Indian Thalis , keeping bread inside covered baskets ( to keep it warm ) make the experience more special . We ordered channa masala , mutton curry , jira rice and pannier pakora, Lachha paratha , naan .. every item was very tasty . We loved the food so much , ended ordering take- out mutton biryani for dinner . If you are in CDMX and craving for Indian food , a must try place .
