Che Che Café — Restaurant in Mexico City

The food is ok, the team is ok. The only issue is related to the bad experience with the wifi. They have an untold minimun consumption policy of 250MXN to give access to the wifi. Even we consumed more than 500MXN each of us (2 people), they kept giving lame excuses about the wifi availability. The second day we were there, there was no wifi at all. My suggestiin is that If there is a policy, make it clear upfront and do not treat the customer as if it was a misuse of the wifi or as if there was an issue. Como amante del café y conocedor del grano mexicano, tengo que decir que Che Che Café de Especialidad es una verdadera joya en la escena cafetera de la CDMX. Lo que más me impresiona es la dedicación con la que seleccionan granos de distintas regiones del país: Nayarit, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Veracruz, Chiapas, Puebla… cada taza es un homenaje al terroir mexicano. Esta selección tan cuidada se traduce en perfiles de sabor únicos y consistentes, que difícilmente encuentras en otras barras de especialidad.

Quiero hacer una mención especial a Fer, su talentoso equipo de baristas y sus socios, quienes no solo entienden el café, lo viven. Cada vez que visito cualquiera de sus cinco sedes, me reciben con atención, conocimiento y pasión. Me encanta cómo preparan mi flat white: con precisión, arte y un respeto absoluto por el grano. Aquí el café no se sirve, se celebra. El nivel de profesionalismo que demuestran detrás de la barra eleva cada visita a una experiencia sensorial completa.

Por todo esto, para mí, Che Che es la barra de café de especialidad más épica de la CDMX. No solo han logrado expandirse con coherencia y calidad, sino que mantienen un estándar altísimo en cada ubicación. Wow, just what Santa Maria needed. And....they have CRUFFINS! One of the only cafes open early in the morning with tasty food options. Its not on the menu yet, but they have coldbrew! Besides being pet friendly, they have home made doggy treats for your perrijos.
