Crescendo — Restaurant in Mexico City

The place is nice in general. I asked for a michelada, it tasted fine but like already opened before, told the waiter, he brought (as it should be) a new glass with lime and opened the beer bottle in front of me, then it tasted very good. I also asked for "Ensalada fresca" It would have been delicious if they did add goat cheese as was supposed to be, I had to look for it with a microscope. Told the waiter about the almost none existent goat cheese on the salad and he just smiled, did nothing about it. Also asked for the Crescendo pizzeta, stay away from it, it was a real let down. I would go back for that salad if prepared correctly, aside from that nothing...

It's a good place to hang out and they have live music and performances. I would give them 5 stars if they improved the quality of their drinks. I ordered a latte and it was extremely hot, we also ordered a chai latte and we specifically asked if their chai had an extra flavor such as cinnamon apple and stuff like that because we don't like it flavoured and they lied to us saying it was neutral flavour.. surprise! It was cinnamon apple flavoured. Still, it's a good "neighbourhood"...

Tristemente no puedo recomendar más este lugar. Estuve allí por primera vez en tiempos "pre-pandemia" y fue una experiencia grata pero volví hace una semana y no me quedaron ganas de regresar. Me sirvieron un café prácticamente frío que bebí así porque ese día iba con desánimo. Le comenté al mesero al respecto cuando fue a recoger la taza su respuesta fue de lo más cínica: "me hubiera dicho para calentarlo" ¡¡¡!!! El café (y más en un lugar que se supone es "cafetería") se sirve recién hecho, NUNCA recalentado. Este comentario me hizo pensar que incluso pudieron servirme algo "reciclado". Decidí quedarme (esperaba a alguien) y el servicio no mejoró. Tardaron en traer lo que mi acompañante pidió y la segunda bebida que ordené la cobraron a pesar de que pedimos que la cancelaran. Además: me dieron una cuchara sucia y la mesa estaba pegajosa... Esto último es imperdonable considerando la contingencia sanitaria por la que estamos pasando. Es comprensible que busquen recuperar sus ganancias a como de lugar pero este tipo de actitudes y el pésimo servicio lo único que logran es que algunos de nosotros decidamos no volver más. Es una verdadera lástima porque el concepto de esta cafetería "de barrio" me parecía muy...
