This place was surprisingly tasty - we stumbled upon it after leaving the Frida Kahlo museum.
We got a fresh pastry to start - and it was super light, bouncy and fresh (a lot of pastries we’ve tried have been heavy and dense).
I got a salmon avocado toast - only complaint is the bread wasn’t toasted enough (very soft). Also the pile of arugula on top make it impossible to bite or cut through. My plate ended up looking deconstructed.
My boyfriend got the croque monsieur - also only complaint is there was way too much sauce on top and the sauce is really heavy. But the bread was toasted perfectly and it was a tasty dish.
We also ordered a fresh Mandarine juice and latte - both were good.

First, the waitresses' are apparently expected to arrange the sitting, which they failed to do well. The orange juice I asked for seemed to be watered-down (seriously?) and when I asked to replace it with an actual orange juice, it took them around 15 minutes to bring it to the table and I already finish my plate. I tried the chilaquiles for the first time, as I wanted get a taste of Mexican breakfast - it was pretty good though is pretty high in calories 🥲 Avocado taste was good too.
