Really nice place. The design in the merchandise and all the employees were super nice and very friendly. The problem is - 1. The price for the quality. 330 pesos for a bagel and cold brew and a small banana cake. If you charge that much, it better be truly amazing and really yummy. It cannot be average. The cold brew was really small for 90 pesos. But it was really tasty. The bagel was completely dry. This is a city with a lot of options and the competition is big so it better be top quality. The cream cheese was too salty and it arrived. Really dry in a very empty plate. The banana cake was dry. I will still give it another. Try to see if anything changed. But I wasn’t over excited about it. Which is a shame because it is a great location and the people were super friendly.

I had high expectations for this café. I'm struggling to find great coffee in Mexico City. I don't ask for much – good beans, friendly service, and an understanding of what a long black is. Mexico City has mastered milky coffee and short espresso, but for some reason, the long black hasn't made its way into town. The coffee was tasty, but they refused to make me my long black, claiming their coffee machine wasn't set up for it. It's a straightforward coffee – an 8oz cup with hot water and a double shot poured for 26-32 seconds on top of the hot water, using only about 6oz of the 8oz cup. I'm from Australia, lived in London, and have owned and operated restaurants and cafes for more than 30 years. I've always believed in giving my customers what they want if I can. If anyone knows of a good long black in the city, let me know.

Style Over Substance? A Mixed Brew in Condesa Cucurucho in Condesa offers a beautifully designed, modern space that’s clean, calm, and buzzing with both locals and travelers. It’s the kind of café that looks like it should be great. We ordered two Americanos and an “Immortal” sparkling water. The Immortal was the highlight—made with real honey, lemon, and electrolytes, it had a refreshing, slightly salty kick that tasted genuinely revitalizing. The Americanos, on the other hand, were underwhelming: made in drip form, served lukewarm, with a bit too much milk. Not bad—but far from memorable. Ordering was quick, but oddly, it took quite a while to receive our drinks. With six staff behind the bar, we expected faster service for such a simple order and had to follow up ourselves. The total came to USD $13, which is fair for the area, though the quality didn’t quite match the price. A nice place to sit—but come more for the ambiance than the coffee. #CucuruchoCDMX #CondesaCoffee #ImmortalDrink #MexicoCityCafes #CDMXEats #DesignCafe #CoffeeReview

I wanted a cappuccino but was told it only comes in small size with one shot, so I decided on a latte. The drink was lukewarm, which isn’t the main problem. The issue was I felt it was just milk, meaning the coffee was weak for my taste. I asked to pay for an extra shot for my latte, and to my shock they said no because this is their recipe. I explained that I just want the coffee to my taste, and that I like strong coffee (normally 2 shots is plenty, I don’t know what they did). They still refused and the barista was very upset for some reason. I was in a hurry and trying to catch an appointment which I mentioned, but the lady kept trying to explain to me why they should do it their way and literally kept saying ‘let me explain to you, this is our recipe’. I’ve never seen such rigidity! At least offer to take the drink and refund me if you don’t want to let me pay for an extra shot! Now I have a drink I hate and an annoyed mood for no reason. Finally, one interesting point they made was that their machine makes double shots only so they can’t separate them. Sounds to me like a problem from thin air..either make double and split it, you can even charge me for double if you want. So many questions, but it was a pointless conversation. I went somewhere else in the end and bought a shot of espresso and...

I do love their cold brew but it’s very expensive and they do make sure to ask every gringo for a tip. I experienced this first hand when the couple in-front of me wasn’t asked for a tip but I certainly was asked to leave one. I get I’m a gringo and they certainly think, oh he won’t mind to leave a tip. It rubs me the wrong way when you have a ton of amazing coffee shops nearby and none ask for a tip, especially to go, but this place does 100% of the time. I’ve been many times and this isn’t a one time experience. I would agree that the vast majority of the staff seem to have a huge chip on their shoulders and stand around and do absolutely nothing except stare at you after you order a cup of coffee. Like they are doing you some sort of a favor to spend 100 pesos for a cup of coffee. Hope this figure it out as the coffee is good. I get it’s hard to find good quality staff at the wages...

I love this place but also hate it. If you're trying to work from here, it's pretty rough.

✅ Pros: Friendly staff Cool design Nice bagels/food/coffee Horchata + expresso is fire

❌ Cons: Half of the day most of the seating inside is in direct sunlight. Aka, can't see your screen and you get really hot. Internet is incredibly inconsistent. I've had multiple calls and meetings drop. Music volume is very inconsistent. Sometimes it's at a good level, while at other times the employees are blasting it. Not ideal.

I really wish they would put up a shade for the sidewall so people can actually sit inside when the sun is heavy mid day and fix the internet. Otherwise, I would rate ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

My girlfriend and I are remote workers, so we look for a place that's comfortable and has reliable internet. This place is almost there,...
