I had an amazing stay at this casa in Mexico City! From the moment we arrived, Lydia was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Her service was truly exceptional, always going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Every morning, she was just a WhatsApp message away, ready to assist us with anything we needed – whether it was restaurant recommendations, directions to the nearest bank, or suggestions on the best neighborhoods to explore.

The lobby area was a beautiful spot to start the day, offering complimentary coffee, fresh fruit, and delicious bakery items each morning. The housekeepers were also fantastic, keeping everything spotless and making us feel right at home.

The Condesa neighborhood, where the casa is located, is stunning! It’s a quiet, green oasis with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and tree-lined streets that give it a niche, peaceful vibe. It's a great area to walk around and explore.

I was walking late at night by myself and never felt scared or worried.

As for the accommodations, they were perfect – the room had a big, comfy king bed, free Netflix/YouTube access, and the price was unbeatable, especially if you're traveling from the US. The location of the hotel is excellent, very safe and quiet. The check in process was excellent, good communication via WhatsApp. Even though the staff don’t speak English, they are very friendly and always willing to help. Unfortunately we got the worst room in the hotel. We stayed in the Pocion room for 5 nights and it was terrible. It was right in the middle of the front door, walkways and living areas. The room had no sound insulation so we heard every single person coming and going, there was even someone using a blender at 7am in the morning. Casa Lalique is a little gem in La Condesa. The rooms are well maintained, new and fresh. The staff takes care of the building very well. Located in the center of La Condesa it is remarkably quiet. It was a welcoming surprise to enjoy the patio with all the bird sounds. In the morning a small breakfast is served in the form of fruits, some sweets and/or bread.
