From the very outset, the owner’s demeanor was exceptionally unfriendly, which set a negative tone for the entire experience. Despite the fact that the restaurant was nearly vacant, our group of four was met with resistance when we requested two tables to be moved together. The owner’s justification was bluntly expressed: “The tables are how they are; take it or leave it.” This stark refusal to accommodate guests, especially when it was evident that the arrangement could have been easily made, left us feeling unwelcome and dismissed.
Moreover, we had chosen this establishment primarily based on its listings on TripAdvisor, which prominently feature burgers and pizza. However, to our dismay, the owner informed us that they had discontinued their burger offerings some time ago. This contradiction raised a valid concern: why maintain a burger and pizza profile on TripAdvisor if they no longer serve one of the menu items? It felt like a significant waste of our time to be lured in by the promise of burgers, only to discover they were no longer available, leading us to question the integrity of their online presence.
Additionally, it is worth noting that the owner is not originally from Mexico, which may have contributed to the overall lack of hospitality and understanding of customer service expectations in the local dining culture. This experience not only highlighted issues of attitude and service but also brought to light the pitfalls of false advertising online.
For those seeking a truly positive dining experience focused on quality burgers, I would highly recommend visiting Butcher and Sons. For anyone craving pizza, exploring other local pizza establishments would be a far better choice, ensuring a satisfying meal without the unwarranted hassle and disappointment we...
Read moreI feel somewhat guilty providing only four stars considering this place has a near perfect rating. I honestly didn't find it to be anything more special than good pizza.
The place: It's quaint. Don't bring a large group. It's a small place with only (maybe) eight small tables. It's an overgrown pizza stand, and I liked that fact.
The service: I don't mind having to request servers return to your table, and this place definitely had a pair of chill servers who were attentive at request. Unfortunately, for this review especially, we were not served the pizza we ordered - a margherita pizza with an addition of pepperoni. We were served a pepperoni pizza. We were content with pepperoni only, but again, it was not our order.
The food: the pizza has a light crust and good quality cheese. It was not greasy and definitely tasted like quality ingredients. As a plus, the drinks we ordered were made in house and were tasty. I had agua tamarindo and it was fantastic.
I'll go back and I recommend it with only a note to friends to "confirm...

This place has completely won us over — it’s our absolute favorite for pizza night! The menu has so many great options, but a few standouts for me are the Pizza Dalla Terra (so earthy and flavorful with all the veggies), Pizza Dulces Sueños (a dreamy combo of sweet and savory that totally lives up to its name), and the classic Pizza Capressa — fresh, light, and packed with flavor.
My husband is all about the pepperoni, and he swears it’s the best he’s had — crispy edges, just the right spice, and never greasy.
And it’s not just the pizza that’s amazing — the French fries and tater tots are the perfect sides. Super crispy, golden, and just the right amount of salt. We always end up ordering extra because we can’t get enough.
Great food, friendly service, and cozy vibes. Highly...
