Embers — Restaurant in Mexico City

Burger place. The menu had pages of different burgers, but not many truly appealed to me in the descriptions. Like many places here, they advertised “artisanal beers”, which is partly why I chose to visit, but they only had the typical Grupo Modelo commercial beers. The burger I chose wasn’t anything special, just some different toppings. The burger patty was rather bland, a bit dry. The bun was normal commercial bun but lightly grilled. The toppings were okay, but I had to drown each bite with mustard from the table due to the patty and bun being dry and rather tasteless. Fries were a bit cold by the time they arrived. Service was okay, but a bit rushed as I’d never been there before and the guy was impatient. He seemed annoyed that I asked which artisanal beers they had since it was on the menu but no particular ones were listed. Likewise a bit annoyed when I had to go through each page of the menu, reading the descriptions of the various burgers. There are better burgers and burger places...

Just finished eating at this place and O-M-G THE BURGERS ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD ! I don’t know how they did that the meat was so fresh and juicy, I took 1 bite and immediately had to take another before stopping to realize I should write a review and take a photo, I got number 5 the original so for a plain burger to be so incredible was shocking to me ! This is my new GO-TO FAVORITE burger place in CDMX hands down and anytime I feel the desire for a burger I’m going here… you will probably see me in there when you go. That’s how real it is and the prices are really cheap about $7 bucks more or less for a burger and the fries are like $3.50 USD (the fries were really good as well) also when they bring you a beer they freeze the glass for extra crisp fresh beer temperature. Service was really good as well the waiter was an older gentleman with some jokes up his sleeve 😂

The best place for hamburgers in my opinion for mexico city, especially the people are really serviceable and they will suggest you whatever you want, great atmosphere and location, also all the hamburgers include a salad bar that is much healthier than regular chains like Carls Jr, what I like the most that you can do your hamburger however you want and the attendants are really serviceable and give sugestions that are tip top almost like mind reading, defineltly the best hamburger place in Mexico City!, BTW more than 70 hamburger styles is...
