After visiting the Blue House and walking the neighborhood around Coyoacan, we found this really great spot to rest with a cold beer. Waitress was great, even if you don’t know Spanish it was easy to order ! We tried some of the local artisanal beers which were really good - especially if you already hit your limit of Dos XX or Corona. We already had lunch so we ordered an appetizer of Gorditas de Chicharrón which were fantastic on their own, but also came with a salsa verde with Habanero peppers. It was fire in the best way !! Even though I wasn’t really hungry I could’ve eaten that on anything - like a flip flop as Guy Fieri says. We stopped in the afternoon so there was music playing from the radio / playlist. Volume was perfect to talk about what we wanted to do next but not hear the busy street outside. This place has a great vibe! It was a good place to rest before jumping back into crazy markets looking for souvenirs. Oh and chairs were padded and really comfortable! One of the Co-owners Jan was there with his really friendly dog. He checked on us, really cool guy ! This was definitely the best Cervecería we stopped at in CDMX.

this place is such a gem. perfect if you want a bite and drinks after the frida kahlo museum or wandering around. come for the beers and chips, stay for the cocktails and vibe. it’s got a barber shop, coffee shop, tattoo parlor and piercing shop - so be careful how much ya drink or you’ll end up with a new cut and tat. 😎 truly can’t recommend enough! [added bonus - dog visitors when we were there including the owner’s Pascal who is a dream!]

Came with some friends for some drinks, we decided to seat upstairs. Service was slow on the terrace, servers were nice but the drinks and food took a really long time. The mushroom ceviche was ok, to my taste it was very very salty… Clamato was also very salty but flavour was ok. The torta de pierna was also ok, but we order 2 and 1 order only had a couple of fries. Place is nice, and has some cool art…

I was very impressed with this place, a friend of mine who Is in to the Mezcal scene knew I was coming to visit from Boston and invited me to visit this place with him.

The place is really cool is an organized chaos, is a full bar in the middle, Tatto shop in the back, I did not try the food but the dishes that I was able to see looked good.

But the highlight was the Murcielago Mezcal bar, more like Mezcal interactive museum and Mitch behind the bar was the curator of such, instead of pushing sales, Mitch took his time to described every mezcal, pour some rare and some no longer in production jewels, answered all my questions with a big smile, this guys is incredibly knowledgeable about the different types and ways to process this wonderful spirit, we had a great time and definitely will be visiting again on my next trip to...

The service was the biggest issue. We didn’t like our drinks at all and they only took back one of them, even though we drank nothing. The waitress also not only asked for tip, which I was still going to give, but then tried to add more without us knowing. She took the receipt from us, and if we didn’t ask for a copy, then she would have said nothing. The extra few dollars of tip was not the issue, it was how she tried to trick us and not be honest. The food was decent but the cocktails were horrible and made incorrectly. Nice place to just relax with a beer, but...
