If you are visiting Coyoacan, Café El Jarocho is a must. Make sure you order a hot or cold chocolate - some of the best you will taste anywhere. If you find a long line of people, dont worry, service is great and it moves fast. The evening was warm, so I ventured into a cold chocolate drink and it was very good - watch out if you are diabetic, it has high sugar content - but almost worth dying for (just kidding!) :)

Coyoacan is also one of those Pueblitos Mágicos de México and the home of some iconic historic spots. I have been told that Día de los Muertos and 15 and 16 de septiembre are very good dates to visit and see the town come alive to the fullest - although, it is always alive and lots of activity any day. As you get ready for a walk through town, grab a hot/cold chocolate from El Jarocho! 100% recommended!...

Este lugar superó mis expectativas. Yo viajo mucho y e probado cafes en varios países, y este tiene que ser uno de los mejores cafés que he probado! Lo recomendaría al 1000% ….. This coffee spot definitely lives up to the hype! As someone who loves coffee and travels frequently, I can confidently say that this is one of the best coffees I've ever had. The quality and flavor are exceptional. I would recommend it without hesitation, and I'll definitely be coming back for more. If you're a coffee lover like me, this place is...

Awful service, lots of guys (supposedly workers) coming in and out of the kitchen area. I asked for a hot dog with "rajas", they put chopped Jalapeño instead. I mentioned I didn't want it with Jalapeño but with rajas. They took a minute and gave me back the same hot dog I didn't wanted but with "rajas" on the side! I asked for a ham torta, the taste was nothing, not even mayo in it... They guys were laughing and having fun while customers waited and waited for their food... Awful experience. Not...

A must if you are in Ciudad de Mexico. This is such a cute and authentic coffee shop nestled in the beautiful neighborhood of Coyoacán. I got their hot chocolate and their pastel de zanahoria. Highly recommend!! If you want to get their churros you need to get there early because by the time we got there, they were sold out! Nice staff & fast wait times. There’s a nearby park in front of the Mercado if you want to enjoy your drink, also beautiful streets to sip as you stroll.
