Kolobok Santa Maria 2 — Restaurant in Mexico City

I'm a level 8 reviewer, and I rate places like restaurants and hotels, based on my experience regardless of the prices, and the reason of this one, is because, I think it is a bit overpriced for what it offers. The attitude of the waiter was a bit off putting, when we arrived the place was almost empty and I attach photo of evidence, and he was a bit rude when when taking the order, Arturo D, then he changed his ways when he saw me taking pictures of the food; and then everything ran smoothly. We ordered "a viaje a Rusia" a trip to Russia, and the food is OK in General, the only 3 outstanding dishes from this 3-course menu was the salmon canapé, the Russian empanada which was stuffed with spinach and cheese, and the honey cake. The main courses aren't Russian at all, they are Mexican with a touch of a Russian adaptation I'd say. Delicious Russian food. This is a place that I very frequently bring Mexican and Californian friends to, especially those completely unfamiliar with the cuisine of Russia, and they are consistently impressed by the food. Actualización:Agradezco a la dirección de Kolobok dar atención puntual a la reseña abajo descrita, nos invitaron a regresar, lo cual hicimos un mes después. La atención fue atenta y ágil de parte de Rafael y Xochitl, con la calidad y calidez que conozco de hace décadas. Llevo mínimo 20 años visitando el restaurante. Su comida es excelente y es una experiencia cultural, el servicio siempre fue bueno en general. Sin embargo, el pasado 25 de noviembre llegamos un grupo de 5 personas, como parte de un festejo ytuvimos la pésima experiencia de que nos atendiera el mesero de nombre Arturo, desde el recibimiento demostró su desinterés por el trabajo que desempeña con su actitud grosera. Tomó la orden, la confirmó y al momento de capturar en su sistema omitió dos platillos, dos de los comensales esperaron mas de 30 minutos sus platillos porque Arturo omitió pedirlos a cocina, ya que estaba distraído socializado con el gerente Ruben y los de cocina. adicional a ello en uno de los platillos salió un pelo, al comentarle su actitud fue de desden y molestia. Igualmente el gerente ruben llegó con una actitud hostil porque nos quejamos del pésimo servicio.
