María Ciento38 — Restaurant in Mexico City

My mother comes from USA and we decided to give her a memorable night and that’s why we chose this restaurant. The waitress name is Dulce and she was friendly, wonderful and well- attended. We ordered calamari and salad w cream cheese as starter. Pizza margarita and pasta pesto as main course. Two bottles of wines at the side and finally tiramisu and espresso too. My husband was a bit picky and finally tasted three wine to make decision. The girl was patient and friendly enough to serve us. I’m so grateful to have her tonight. The chef came out to say hello to us and we told him all the food was fine and the service was excellent. We did have a good n enjoyable meal.

Honestly we have been there many times, sometimes the service was not ideal during weekend’s because it was tooooo busy. I believe wither service is better during weekday because everything is up to standard. We definitely come back on weekdays again .

By the way , we love the garden environment, it’s v romantic and it’s perfect to come w lovers .

Lovely Dinner on Saturday night. We shared Burrata( soft and delicious!), a Gorgonzola fig salad( fresh and excellent dressing), Spaghetti Siciliano( could have been warmer but really superb, and 2 types of Arancini( good but lacking in salt and flavor). The romantic outdoor gravel floor patio surrounded by a historic home contributed to a flawless setting that complemented the experience. Disappointed in thff we service- very nice Waitress overworked brought all dishes out at the same time??? Took ages to bring glasses of wine….. Need some help in that Department! We will return and spell out the order of how we want the food brought and order wine at the beginning of the meal. Or maybe come during the week when less stress? Prices were affordable ( compared to Roma, Condesa) and the crowd was more local, well dressed, friendly, and warm. Better service would have brought...

Sabor 🧂 Sabores básicos e incipientes. Platillos rimbombantes, sin embargo los sabores no son los mejores.

Calidad 🥣 La calidad de los alimentos es básica. Te sirven a la mesa platillos fríos. La calidad per se es mala, se aprecia la pésima calidad y de esmero con que se preparan los platillos.

Presentación 🍱 🍱 Quizá sea esto lo que más llame la atención.

Servicio 🛎 El servicio es malo, no llega siquiera a ser incipiente y es igual de malo que sus platillos.

Sitio 🛋 🛋 🛋 El sitio llama mucho la atención, lamentablemente es mucho espacio desperdiciado para tan pésimos servicio, calidad de alimentos y sabor de los platillos.

Precio 💸 💸 💸 💸 Los precios son muy altos para el nivel y calidad de servicio que ofrecen, simplemente no vale lo que entregan.

Reseña: Los platillos están medianamente ejecutados. Un sitio donde te apresuran para que te vayas, te cierran tu cuenta y llegan a tu mesa; disculpe, le trajimos su cuenta… esto a las 10:30 pm del día Viernes que se supone cierran a las 11:00 pm. Dado que no me permitieron celebrar el cumpleaños de un familiar con el pastel que se llevó, y que entendí que no se podía hacer, el “gerente” Gabriel me informó que habló con la “dueña” y que para resarcir la molestia, le había autorizado que a la celebrada se le diera una rebanada de pastel misma que no llegó ni con el café que incluso fue solicitado y sugerido por la misma persona.

Lo imperdible: Nada es imperdible, todo es básico e incipiente.

Recomendación: Cambiar su estrategia de servicio. NO MENTIRLE JAMÁS AL COMENSAL…!!!
