La Trattoria San Angel — Restaurant in Mexico City

Awesome everything! The venue is cozy and nice. I did not love the fact that they have TVs though as it is suppose to be a formal restaurant. Service is great, relatively fast, waiters are friendly, not too pushy but have some menu suggestions that are really good. Wine selection is good, not too overpriced and you can even bring your own bottle without additional charge. Menu is really great, varied: beef, chicken, seafood, fish, pastas, salads. The salted fish was tasty, love the mussels with fries. The meat lasagna was tasty too. All the dishes are great portion and flavor wise. Bread is really tasty. They have some homemade sauces (tapenade, macha salsa, and pepper sauce) which are really good. Desserts are awesome, loved the all: profiteroles, nona pie, and the chocolate mouse. Hace poco tuve el placer de desayunar en Trattoria 3 en San Ángel, y la verdad es que fue una experiencia muy agradable. Lo primero que me llamó la atención fue lo tranquilo que estaba el lugar, algo que valoro muchísimo para empezar el día con calma.

El desayuno estuvo muy rico en general. Quiero hacer una mención especial a los huevos a la cazuela: ¡los recomiendo muchísimo! Tienen un toque de picante que les da un sabor delicioso y los hace diferentes. Además, el pan dulce es fresco y delicioso, un acompañamiento perfecto.

El desayuno viene en un paquete que incluye fruta y café de refill, lo cual me pareció una excelente opción y con una muy buena relación calidad-precio. Eso sí, y esto es un punto a mejorar, el café no es su fuerte. Realmente deberían trabajar en ello, aunque se agradece mucho que sea de refill.
