Ocelotl Tradicional Mexican Coffee — Restaurant in Mexico City

My poor rating is simply because I found the store assistant dishonest. First, I got a coffee while I decided what I would buy. While I was making up my mind the lady was kind to me. However once I was done, her attitude changed completely and she didn’t even say bye or thank you, she just charged me and turned her back to go chat with her colleagues. Moreover, I told her I wanted to tip 10% for the coffee I had gotten and she charged me 10% extra over the entire bill (coffee + purchased products). I ended up leaving +5 euros tip for a 3 euros...

Great experience! This place is a must when you are visiting La Ciudadela market! Delicious traditional Mexican craft coffee, (cafe de olla) I recommend the Ocelotl House recipe with spices and orange peel. You can add a shot of infused mezcal as well. They also serve artisanal hot chocolate and teas. Make sure to taste some of their infused mezcals, you will have a unique and tasting experience. I appreciate the concept that they have, I wanted to try a coffee and ordered one but ended up asking for my money back after waiting about 10 minutes and then them telling me that it was going to be another 10 min or so. Considering there was only 2 people in front of me ordering a coffee each I would have appreciated that they told me how long it would take as it was irritating to wait that long for something that shouldn't have taken very long.
