Olive Garden Parque Delta — Restaurant in Mexico City

I'm from Texas and I was so excited to take my cousin to one of my favorite restaurants "Olive Garden". When I got there the hostess was very polite with us. He said that we need a QR to see the menu and we told him that we didn't have it our phones, so he said that the waitress can help us with that. We where sitting for several minutes (only 3 tables were occupied), until the waitress came and we explain we didn't have the QR our phones to see the menu. He was very rude and he said there no way we can eat there. Another waitress step by (very nice and helpful girl), and she trying to look for the QR reader on the phone but she couldn't find it. So we decided to walk out. By the exit we were stop by the manager and she asked why we were leaving and we explained everything. She said that she can print some menus for us but we didn't feel comfortable any more. We left and we went to "Cheese Cake Factory". When we left my cousin explain to me that is appearance of the people. It wasn't planned to go there. We were walking the whole day. Visiting museums and walking in "el centro". Era fan de este lugar ya que conocí el concepto en USA y había ido varias veces aquí en México, sin embargo está vez si no me gustó para nada, en la carta dice que con cada platillo excepto pizzas incluye sopa, ensalada y los panecillos ilimitados, sin embargo prove 2 sopas (minestrone y crema con gnocchi, la ensalada de la casa) carecen de sabor pareciera que solo es por cumplir o de relleno, la porción del platillo que pedí pechuga margarita la sentí pequeña nada que ver con la foto que tiene la carta, otros de mis familiares pidieron una pechuga parmesana y el espagueti con el que lo acompañaron sin chiste, el queso parmesano que te ponen en los platillos igual sin sabor y se siente como plástico, otro más de mis familiares pidió una pizza de peperoni y la verdad es la peor que hemos comido solo probamos 2 rebanadas de 6 que trae, excesivamente grasosa, la masa medio cruda y la salsa marinara sin nada de sabor, nada que ver con una pizza, al comentarlo con la gerente en turno nos dijo que lo platicaria en la cocina para mejorar le indicamos que por favor la quitara de la cuenta pues solo habíamos comido un par de rebanas y que probará una para que nos entendiera ya que se había enfriado un poco y toda la grasa se había solidificado abajo y no tenía sabor, a lo cual solo nos mandó un café y un tiramisú lo cual agradecimos pero hubiéramos preferido que nos la quitarán del ticket puesto que no fue para nada de nuestro agrado, pareciera que están cambiando de administración en la cocina porque en algunos platillos que prove son carentes de sabor así como la consistencia no tiene que ver a lo alguna vez prove, lo único que se salvó fue el tiramisú que si estaba bueno, no...

The place is nicely lit and has an airy feeling. However, the service is the worst, the slowest ever. Obviously, the server has no idea how to serve or to eat. I had to ask for water and wine so many times, they came as the meal was over. The food is mediocre, and the prices aren’t cheap at all.
