We loved the food, and the servers were very nice. The place is very cute. I loved the music, especially that it wasn’t too loud. HOWEVER, I was so disappointed and upset by how two ladies spoke to one of the servers. I heard and saw how rude they were to this worker. I had a feeling they were the owners or something like that, as this situation isn’t uncommon in Mexico. Later, I found out that these two were indeed the owners. Being the boss doesn’t give you the right to talk to your workers that way. Yes, bosses have authority, but not the authority to be rude or disrespectful to anyone! I hope they apologize and reflect on how they treat their employees. I hate this type of behavior. The steak was flavorful, queso fundido was delicious, and the chorizo was lovely! Also, best Cafe de Olla to date. The service team was very friendly, especially by taking the time to help us pick great food being that my Spanish is not great (this is totally on me as a traveler!) but I really appreciated the level of helpfulness (given our limitation) which led us to have the perfect lunch.
