Score: 9/10 - I will return many times and suggest to visiting friends as an authentic experience and menu.
Thoughts: Fantastic. My favorite tacos in CDMX. They are "sloppy good". The tacos aren't pretty.l - but your stomach doesn't have eyes. The interior is tiny, but you can order from the street front.
Enjoy the $15 peso tacos in an authentic vibe. The tacos w/ queso are four times the price of the smaller tacos, but they are also four times as big. Order the grilled onions.
Bring cash and a big appetite.
The neighborhood is fun in the evening and early night. The location is near a university and there's a vibrant energy.

Tacos el Güero serves excellent tacos al pastor, gringas de bistec, and their sudadero is soft and yummy. I had a gringa de bistec and tacos al pastor and campechano– and was great and the quality and seasoning (sazón) at the place is unmatched in comparison to surrounding taco places.
Prices are reasonable. You may have to assume confidence and ask the taqueros with a bit of gusto, but the staff is friendly and quick to tend to your request.
Tacos El Güero have become one of my favorite tacos places in San Miguel...

I walked away confused and decided to call and ask what time they open and they hung up in my face. I called back and they said no ingles, and hung up again. I called back because little did they know I knew Spanish and they just refused to answer the phone. I’m very disappointed since the reviews and photos I’ve seen looked really good. So warning to...
