Moonstar Cafe — Restaurant in Nayarit

Truly worth all of the hype with the incredible food that we were served. They were extremely busy and service was a bit spotty because of this but the staff was obviously working hard and doing the best that they possibly could. Atmosphere is lacking given that it's on the inside of a mall with little surrounding decor to speak of. I don't think that you can go wrong with anything to choose to eat here and we'll post a couple of pictures of what we had. I was especially pleased with my chilaquiles with both scrambled eggs and chicken that was fresh, well cooked and flavorful and which were the best that I think that I have ever had. La comida estaba muy rica pero el servicio del mecero era terrible. Vi como le servia refills de cafe a los turista y como lo ven a uno como local ni atencion le dan a uno. Comente a los demas empleados y se ve q no les importa. Food was great but the service was poor. The only time the server talked to us was to take the order and to bring the order. I saw how he brought refills to other customers. I guess since he thought we were locals he didnt bother asking if we need anything. I had to get up to pay. I’ve been coming here for the past month or so and it’s my go-to place for breakfast or lunch. You can order anything off the breakfast or lunch menu until they close at 3 PM.

The combos are terrific and the prices are right. It’s a nice break from the nearby resorts if you want a reasonably priced great non-buffet meal.

The wait staff are excellent - friendly and attentive. A special shout out to Mario, Miguel and Andreas.

If I had to give a negative comment, it’s only the fact that it’s in the Paradise Village shopping centre mall and so the atmosphere is, well, a mall....
