Playa Royale is beautifully landscaped and well maintained luxury private condo residential building in resort setting. The reception staff help residents and their guests/renters as needed. The grounds are immaculately maintained. There's a free resort shuttle that takes guests/owners to El Tigre Golf Course, the spas, the Sports Center on the golf course grounds and to Paradise Village shopping mall--just 3 blocks away which has lots of restaurants, banks, ATM, car rental, boutiques, full service grocery, several ice cream shops, laundrymat, jewelry stores, Starbucks and sitdown and fast food choices for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Read moreI cant lie, the beach is beautiful but the sad truth is that it's like any other beach around the area. What makes this place unique is the service, my family and I have to give our IDs to rent towels which is understandable but what isn't is that when we go to return our towels there is no body there (even though we were there a few min after the time told to us). Now we have to carry our towels to our spot and bring the towels back the next day which is inconvenient because we are leaving the next day as well. We also had to walk home because our IDs are the only way we can get a shuttle to our place. Such a little thing can ruin a whole experience. Definitely wont be...
Read morePlaya Royale is comprised of interval ie timeshare and fully owned apartments. I’ve seen four units and most are well furnished, but this will depend upon individual owners. Not all for example will have wifi. Well maintained and clean. Grounds and beach are excellent. The kiddie pool is great for little ones.
Problems getting shade and chairs around the main pool. A small number of owners hog the loungers etc and put towels down to reserve equipment even though they are not at the pool. They think they have some form of squatters rights. This needs to be addressed by management
