I remember coming here many years ago and trying my very first Pacific lobster. It was delicious and I have been a fan of Pacific and Atlantic lobster ever since.

Based on that experience, I recently brought my Sweety here during a trip to Bucerias for the Sunday market. We took the bus from the Hotel Zone in PV for the princely sum of $44 MXN each. About $3.50 CDN.

I made a beeline for Mike's and we were seated immediately. We ordered a couple of beers and a chicken quesadilla to share. I had my favourite Pacifico and Sweety ordered a Victoria. Both arrived promptly and frosty.

While we were sipping our beers and enjoying the sea breeze and beach scenery, Mike stopped by to chat. Very funny guy and a big smile for the customers.

He asked my Sweety if she wanted to play with the parakeet. The bird didn't seem too interested when she tried to feed him from his sunflower seeds. He is a little cutie, though.

They had a young lady who was singing for the live entertainment. She had a beautiful voice and was singing a toe - tapping mix of popular and original music. I hope she at least has a YouTube channel. Very talented!

The kitchen knew that we were splitting the nibbles and cut them in half. They were accompanied by a pile of fresh guacamole and refried beans. It was a big plate of food and very tasty. Just the thing for a light lunch. The menu has a good range of options for any meal.

The bill for the nibbles and drinks was $240 MXN which is about $20 CDN. Very affordable for a filling lunch with cold beers. We will definitely return the next time we are in Mexico. Love the Vallarta area.

I would recommend that you give them a try. The drinks are frosty and competitively priced. The food was delicious. The fresh guacamole was amazing. We were in a public place so I had to resist the urge to lick the plate. Muchas...

Let the swarm visit. We got to the restaurant and it wasn't busy so we decided to try it since we had gone past it many times while walking. The waiter sat us by the edge so we could have a view of the plaza. We ordered coffee to start. For my main breakfast I ordered pancakes and my wife had the Benny breakfast. Coffee came and we sat there drinking, people watching and waiting for our food. The place was warm and we had a fan in the area blowing for our comfort. And then all of a sudden a big swarm of flies that were the size of bees appeared. We were stunned. It hovered there for about 2 minutes which felt like a lifetime. A couple on the next table moved into the interior as they got freaked out. We stayed there not moving. The owner came with another fan to blow our way to send them away. It was the freakishly weird event we have seen. Then after a while they went away. The owner said that it was something that never happens. He spoke English only. I talked to him in Spanish but he responded and only talked to us in English. He was Mexican and spoke to the help in Spanish but only wanted to speak English with us. Our food came and my pancakes were tasty. My wife didn't like the Benny because she said the eggs were runny and she had asked for hard eggs. The service was okay but I think the swarm had something to do with them serving us. As if we had commanded the swarm to appear. Overall the food was good, the service okay and the atmosphere something of a Hitchcock movie. We give...

We met the owner as we were out walking around looking for a location to stop and eat. He was very friendly and told us all about his restaurant, how they made the freshest margaritas in town and that he had opened a sports bar adjacent to his restaurant. The restaurant has a great view of the ocean and has a boardwalk area where children play and do arts and crafts. The food was good. I ordered 2 beef tacos and 2 chicken tacos. The beef tacos were by far the better choice. The margaritas we great. I had the pineapple margarita and my girl ordered the banana margarita. They were both really good and made with fresh fruit! You could tell it in the taste. My girlfriend even convinced me to take a bite of her coconut shrimp and I don't even eat seafood like that. It was actually really good. The shrimp is huge and extremely fresh! I will warn that the restaurant is close to the public beach so you are bombarded with locals attempting to sell you things. If you can get around that, then you will have an enjoyable experience. Oh, they also had live music while we were there. The entertainment was really enjoyable! I definitely recommend giving this...

I spent the past 12 days in Puerto Vallarta Centro and Bucerias and Miguel Ángel's was easily one of the two best places I went. The service was great, the food was amazing and it was incredibly cheap. We got margarita's that didn't have enough tequila in them and our server quickly fixed that mistake. We had hand made guacamole made at our table and it was top three in my life. My friend ordered the shrimp empanadas and they were about twice the size and twice the deliciousness of your average empanadas. I got the filet mignon wrapped in bacon with red snapper and it could not have been better. We were a table of four and we got four margaritas, four beers, the guac and chips, the empanadas, four entrees and four shots of tequila for dessert :), this came out to less than $90 USD. Incredible.
