By far, some of the best, most affordable and reasonable seafood in the area. Most certain there are others less expensive, however, the quality of the food coupled with the variety of the seafood on the menu was overwhelming. We were completely taken with the quality of the seafood, from the seasonings and exquisite seafood exotic tastes to the sheer quantity of the servings. Phenomenal staff support, professional, friendly, accommodating in every regard, a smile on all the faces and what appeared to be a genuine pleasure to be working at this location. Did I mention the Margaritas? Reasonable price and of very good quality. The size offered was “”sailor” quantity. Will have to try a few other flavors to provide more information. Parking is not an option - take a taxi, reasonable prices from our hotel, not a long or congested route. I have to again mention how phenomenal the waiters and senior staff were, offering us great seating, right on the beach, plenty of seating available, friendly spacing and not congested. We were mesmerized by the view of the surf and the feeding sea life. Amazing location! We most strongly recommend a visit, well worth the effort and planning. We will be back, God willing! Inshallah! Muchas Grácias!

Honestly the food isn’t too bad but the service is beyond reproach. We were made to feel guilty for asking for out bill to be split amongst the 5 of us sitting at the table which was only 3 separate groups. The food took a long time, as well as the drinks which was completely understandable and forgivable were it not for the absolutely atrocious treatment from the wait staff. we asked to pay with card and the waiter asked if we could please tip other cash as they didn’t take a percentage away. That’s reasonable. I paid my bill in full (which wasn’t correctly divided) and then left a decent tip in cash. As I walked away the waiter chased me out the door and said “you didn’t tip, is that okay?” To which I explained I left my cash on the table. Okay food. Horrible service. Id take McDonald’s and a happy waiter over the experience they offer.

This place is amazing. The table we were sitting at was right on the beach next to the ocean. They made margaritas at the table which was awesome. The seafood salad was a huge plate of seafood and a wide variety. The guacamole was amazing and so was the seafood siveche. The pico was delicious and the salsa with the chips had a nice kick to it. The fajita plate was gigantic which two people could easily share. Seafood soup was delicious and it was all fresh seafood honestly so good. I ordered a carne asada burrito and it also was good. The steak was tender. The staff was very kind as well. It is a little more pricey but it was beyond worth it. They have so much seafood options to pick from. I recommend this place.

Fat boy Seafood seems like a nice place to have a cerveza and fish tacos on the beach. Unfortunately, our negative experience overshadowed the mediocre, albeit expensive food. To begin with, beach sellers were allowed to walk everywhere on the restaurant site to the point where we were bugged constantly to buy something. At one point, a little boy, about 6 or 7, came to our table to sell a keychain. He looked so hot and tired we offered him food and drink. He answered, "no, mister, just buy something. Please just buy." It was hard to see. The worst part of the meal came when, after an hour of no wait staff, we hunted down the waiter for the bill. We paid with a 15% tip. The waiter, Joshua, loudly said. What is this? Is the food not good enough? How can I help support my friends in the kitchen? This is not enough. So my husband and I, sooo embarrassed, started adding bills to the folder. We must of added another $300 pesos before he would stop berating us. We were so embarrassed and then realized this was a bullying SCAM and a result of a restaurant chain not providing a living wage. I do not recommend. No one...

Was so excited to try this place based on reviews and my love for seafood. We were on a girls trip and there were 8 of us, the location was amazing and the service was excellent; quick, efficient, polite and split our bills no problem. That's where anything good about this place ended. This was our most expensive meal and by far the worst. The food was terrible, if it wasn't for my concoction of mayo and hot sauce I wouldn't have been able to choke down my meal. The rest of the party agreed. The drinks tasted nothing like they should have and we had your basics margaritas, mai tais, mojitos, things that should have been done well at an establishment with this high of a rating. Now comes the vendor complaint, every 2 mins someone was approaching our table trying to sell us something. It distracted from our evening and was annoying all around, to the point where it left us irritable and angry. We sat at a few beach front restaurants on this trip and this was the only place that allowed this happen. Don't waste your time, money, sanity or palate on this place, Mar y sol which is a few doors down was a way...
