Voodoo Monkey Tiki Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Nayarit

We were walking around at night and noticed that this bar had live music. The band sounded great so we decided to go in for a few drinks. While there we noticed that the majority of the crowd was made up of Canadians and Americans. Very few locals but the music being played was mostly in English.

We sat down and listen to the band. When the band took a break the drummer came to our area and we started chatting about his kit. It sounded amazing. His name is Alex and try to get me to play with the band. I declined but had a great time listening and enjoying the music. When we finished our drinks we went to the plaza and listened to other bars that had live music.

Great food, but inconsistent with their standard. The same dish will not always look and taste the same each time.

Great ambiance, we had fun at the music bingo night. However… the Saturday lunch live music was extremely loud, we stopped eating and left with our left overs. We were the only ones there with another 2 tops and we asked the server to ask the musicians to lower the volume, they pretended to, the decibels level on my Apple watch did not change at all. 102 decibel: 10min of this level can cause permanent damage… so avoid Saturday lunch or their live music night at all. This place is going to make someone sick! Not only did they bring us a drink without us ordering it they were rinsing out the blender in tap water before making our drinks. We are afraid to get sick from tap water and left. At least they didn't charge us for drinks left behind. Please train staff not to mix tap water/cross contaminate with...
