We’ve visited Amarisa Cafe multiple times, and each experience has been exceptional. The service is consistently warm and attentive, making us feel welcomed every time. The food is absolutely delicious—thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee, the menu offers a great variety that caters to different tastes. The cozy atmosphere and charming decor add to the overall experience, making it one of our favorite spots in Puerto Escondido. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality food and outstanding service!

I have been traveling a lot in my life and I’m always seeking for good bread (since I’m Austrian). I chose this place randomly and it has been one of my luckiest bread days in my life. I haven’t had such a delicious bread outside of Austria before. The person who made it is German I guess, I just want to say thank you! If you have never tasted real bread before, go there and do it 😍 we also got some bread as take away. It is not cheap, but worth it! And they have really nice pastries as well :)

Philippe and Grit, Thank You so much for the delicious and beautiful custom cake for Rick’s birthday! We have travelled the world and no cake has ever been this delicious nor this beautiful it is “Cake Couture” and the best birthday cake he has had! Pina Colada with fresh coconut and layers of pineapple mousse, my goodness it was absolutely heavenly!!! Merci Beaucoup Madeleine y Rick!

DO NOT go here! I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this was truly a lesson in how not to run a cafe. The service was probably the worst I’ve ever experienced I was completely dismissed at every stage. Firstly when I got there all the staff were preoccupied, not with serving customers but instead with standing about chatting to each other and ignoring everyone else. I had to go up and order myself and when I had any questions I was completely dismissed. I sat down and when I was served and checked the label my drink was a flavour which I didn’t want so I asked to not have it. They seemed absolutely bemused that I might not want a bottled drink in a flavour that I didn’t ask for! The man who I ordered with (blue eyes and the rudest cafe staff I have ever met) then proceeded to unscrew the lid and tell me that it was opened so I could not return it! I told him I hadn’t touched it only the label and he had just opened it! Another lady came, I imagine a supervisor, who said I cannot return it if it was already opened. I told her the other man had just opened it and they looked at me as if I was lying. Such a cliquey set off staff that I felt completely bullied and gaslight over such a simple fix! The only lady there who was actually working was a very short girl but out of probably 8 staff to have only one working and the rest milling about is ridiculous. To add to this the food is very low quality and stale and there are so many flies about that you can’t eat without 10 flies swarming. I hate to imagine the state of the kitchen and the food hygiene...

Nice working café. I like the coffee here, it’s been my favourite in La Punta. The staff is mostly friendly but sometimes a bit stubborn when it comes to adapt to special requests (not always though :). It gets extremely busy and noisy in the morning and the staff seems to be a bit stressed out and sometimes(!) not polite. They also forgot my order several times! The food is decent. and breakfast prices fair. The sandwiches are a bit overpriced in my opinion but ok... it's their home made bread I think. What they can improve is to deal better with the high amount of people in the morning in order to compete with other places that will come up soon in the area. For now they don’t have much competition when it comes to cafés with fast wifi but if this changes, they need to adapt their service to keep their costumers because forgetting orders is definitely not...

Cozy spot for delicious eats! 🌟

I had the chance to visit this café several times. The food is delicious, made with incredibly fresh ingredients, and the staff is friendly and attentive. One of my absolute favorites was the Hollywood Bowlevard 🥣.

The coffee is excellent, and the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, making it a perfect spot for working remotely. The bread and cakes are homemade, and Felipe, the manager, is a super friendly French guy who’s always attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy, with great music that enhances the inviting vibe.

This place has become my go-to spot for healthy meals, hanging out with friends, and productive work sessions. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic café experience. You won’t be...
