Magnolia Rooftop-Mezcal-Café — Restaurant in Oaxaca

This roof too bad is right in front of La Soledad cathedral. It’s got a beautiful view of the mountain and church. I stumbled upon this place and decided to stop for a drink and rest after walking around the down town area. I ordered the Pina mezcalina drink which was really good they blended fresh pineapple and mezcal with a twist of lime and rosemary garnish and chili sal de gusano which has a Smokey taste. It was refreshing although would liked it stronger which is why I followed it with a beer. The prices were very decent in comparison to the fancier restaurants located downtown. I got some corn tamales to go which I thought could’ve been cooked longer. It seemed as though burgers and sandwiches was more their thing. He ido ya por algunos años, incluso, a festegar cumpleaños ahí. Me agrada el lugar, el espacio y la vista. Es fresco en época de calor y frío en época de invierno.

Las últimas veces el servicio ha sido un poco deficiente, parece que les falta personal y se refleja en que el mesero que nos atendió no nos hacía mucho caso y tardó un poco, más de lo habitual. La chica, que cobra en caja, no ayudaba al mesero, en esa ocasión, a pesar que lo veía estar solo y que, nosotros, le hicimos señas varias veces para ser atendidos a lo cual la chica únicamente nos vio sin acudir, ni nada.
