Definitely one of the best cafes in town for a number of reasons.
The ambience is my favorite thing about it. It's quiet; the courtyard is lovely, with a tree acting as half the shade, and the hum of people enjoying each other's company is the background noise.
The service on both occasions was also excellent. Very attentive but not aggressive in any way, just available.
Unfortunately, they do seem to start running out of things by late morning, but this is to be expected when everything is prepared fresh daily.
Which leads me to the quality of the products: they're great. The espresso is excellent, forming a base for an excellent flat white or iced drink. And if you order a hot drink, it will be steamed perfectly. The juice is delicious. The tea selection is small and well thought-out. The pastries are divine, and this was my favorite cookie this trip. Seriously, try a cookie. The hot food was well-seasoned and balanced. We found nothing not to love about the food.
There is also a fun little art space and shop attached that's open some of the time. Fun to peruse.
I highly recommend this shop. And while a few people mentioned it's slightly expensive, I must disagree; it's very comparable to the other specialty shops...

We got the “Turkish eggs”, an espresso, the baguette breakfast sandwich, and the mango oatmilk matcha. All were amazing.
The Turkish eggs with dill sauce was creamy, buttery, and the eggs were perfectly yolky. Came with some wheat bread slices.
The breakfast baguette sandwich, which had eggs, bacon, and cheese, was a sleeper. Didn’t expect much but it turned out to be the perfectly crunchy-on-the-outside / side-on-the-inside sando I needed.
They have a small indoor seating area where they’re chill about laptops. I’d work on charge here. It’s not a spot to post up, plug in and stay for a while. No frills but perfect for what it’s meant for.
Their outdoor space has a beautiful bougainvillea, which covers half of their exposed...
Read moreWe're travelling from Australia and know zero Spanish. The menu was in both Spanish and English which is just AMAZING for us language noobs. It was so absolutely so nice to order our breakfast and have at least one meal of the day that we knew exactly what we were getting!
Also the coffee was top notch and what you would expect in Australia - it's Italian style (if you're a coffee snob then you will enjoy) and they did oat milk for those who struggle to process milk. Yay, no spitty bum.
We had the avocado on toast and my partner had the mm's which was a bowl of poached eggs, not too spicy chilli and a Greek style yoghurt was mixed into it. To us it sounded strange but it was delicious. We also did a ham and cheese croissant and again delicious 😋
Thank you, we will come visit every morning until the duration of our...
