Nodo Brewery — Restaurant in Oaxaca

Wow. Wow! WOW! Nodo is a little slice of cerveza heaven. I stopped in with some friends and had a night to remember. The food was on point. The service was fantastic. Super friendly staff that was also super fun. The type of person you wanna have a beer with. Speaking of which… who knew this region offered such a glorious selection of craft beers. I was transported to the shores of Cali by the IPA. The red ale was mouthwatering and the super cool owner even let me try a sip of one of her upcoming batches of Carajillo. ¡Wow! My mind was blown by the cacophony of flavors dancing on my tongue. This place isn’t just good for your belly. It’s good for your soul. Good vibes. Good people. Good beer. This place is straight up the bomb. I showed up here lost and alone looking for a Monday evening snack. I was greeted by friendly faces who were extremely passionate about beer. The staff here are highly competent when it comes to beer 🍻 (making, storing, consuming) and they have soooo many of mexicos 🇲🇽 best options on tap.

We had high expectations for the beers. But were very dissapointed.

We started with tasting menu. Although we remembered the waiter to write down the numbers of the beers we did not get all the ones we ordered. Some were not on tap and were replaced.

The blond and the saison and pale ale were very bad and undrinkable. Terrible bitter and tasted chemical, soapy, the types of ipa were sligtly less bad but had the same chemical hints in the background. The amber and stout were ok, but not special.

The music was good but so loud we could not talk. Chairs uncomfortable to sit long hour drinking sessions on so we left after...
