Teresina — Restaurant in Oaxaca

We have been supporting Teresina ever since Barbara first opened it & have always enjoyed the food, especially the Pizza. Even after Barbara passed away & her daughter took over we still continued supporting & enjoying the restaurant. There were a couple of hiccups when her daughter first took over. But she got it all sorted our & things continued as they had when Barbara was in charge. We went there in Oct for Pizza with friends & really enjoyed it. That evening we met a gentleman who claimed that he was the owner of El Sabor in Marina Park & that he had just gone into partnership with Barbara's daughter. He asked our opinion of the Pizzas & we told him that they were as good as ever. However two nights ago we returned with the same friends & we all had a very different experience. Quite simply both couples had our favorite pizzas & none enjoyed it. They are definitely not following the same recipes anymore & all four of us said that after our experience we would think twice about ever going back. We are thinking that Barbara's daughter must be completely out of the picture now & that whoever is running it now has decided not to continue with the same winning recipes from before....

We stayed in Huatulco from Jan-March 2022. We ate here 2-3 times per week, best pizza, pasta and sauces, best restaurant in Huatulco excellent professional service, 2 wonderful sisters run the restaurant - I'm from Toronto with a lot of restaurants and this restaurant would be a success in Toronto that's how good the food and service is, you should try, it won't disappoint, (home made chimichuri on tables as appetizers really excellent) can't say enough about this place (try the homemade lemonade...

Absolutely stunning gnocchi, superior pizza, and very kind service. The salad was fresh, pretty and filling. Every single thing was delicious. Best meal I’ve had in years. The kitchen is spotless and organized. Will be back frequently. Ten stars!
